Chapter twenty-three
Writers POV
Alex had been in a total mess ever since he was what Tunde Ibrahim did to his house. He knew it was partially because he had refused to join the pack. And mostly because of Mia.
Mia. He could still recall the first day he had met her. He could forget everything, but not that day.
It happened at an event he was invited to, by one of his clients call Rachel Okafor. A woman he had help her won her case.
On that Saturday evening, he had seen a girl, clad in ill fitted clothings, and was being denied of making her way forth into the event hall, by an usher. Because she was dressed totally different from the way everyone was dressed.
After arguing with the male usher that was standing in front of the huge doors, she began leaving, looking quite sad that he, Alex felt the sudden urge to help her.

Writer's POVAfter Mia left the hospital. Things became really tough for her that she couldn't return back to her job. Because she knew she just survived death. If it wasn't for Alex, she knew she would have been dead. But God had sent him to save her. And the people who had wanted to kill her, were still out there. So it was best to be in the hidden, because if they by any chance see that she was alive, she would be gone for good.She could still remember how she had been beaten terribly, and then shot right in the chest on that night.
