Episode 3

♣️HUNKA FOREST♣️

It's been 12 years already, both Harvey and Edgar had grown pretty well. Harvey had grown too tall for a twelve year old.

Edgar has grown big too, his mane has grown fully well, showcasing he is indeed a King of the jungle. Lydia and her offsprings had many disturbances throughout the years but Edgar always come to the rescue.

Edgar would scare anything and anyone but he doesn't eat humans. He only hunts down animals.

Lydia has also grown older and weaker, her son(s) always go out to hunt for the food, fruits and fetch the water they'd need. She's always in the cave. 

Surviving 12 years in the forest wasn't easy at all, there have been cases when they'd have almost killed one of them but miracles happen. 

Only Harvey knows how to communicate with Edgar. 

"Mother, why do you refuse to tell me about our father?" Harvey asked as he walked inside the cave, carrying a dead deer he hunted with him. He gently placed it down and sat beside his mother, patiently waiting for an answer.

"I don't want to talk about it" Lydia replied and sat up, checking the dead deer Harvey placed on the ground. She sighed.

"I barely know him" Lydia said and paused.

"About thirteen years ago, I heard a knock on my door, it was in the dead midnight, I opened and he rushed in, he went on his kneels and pleaded I should let him stay for the night. He was caught using magic. Well, I don't know how but we got intimate." She revealed, Harvey listened with rapt attention.

"So you know nothing about him?" Harvey asked

"Just his name......."

"Mortimer" She said and carried up the dead dear, she wants to cook it.

"Did they catch him?" Harvey asked as he walked after his mother

"I don't know" She answered

"I'll find him" Harvey said.

♣️DOKA KINGDOM♣️

King Otis of Doka, alongside his only son, Prince Clyde who held the Kuhan Seal in his hand and was beaming with smile and few other royal guards walks towards a cell in the dungeons.

The knight guarding the cell opened it when he saw the king approaching. King Otis and his son entered the cell while the guards stayed out. There was this man tied with heavy chains, his clothes has become tattered as he has been there for years, his hair had grown too much, covering his face. His head was down, one could tell he was sleeping.

Prince Clyde poured a bowl of water right on his face and he slowly opened his eyes.

When he saw the seal with the prince he screamed, trying to break the chains which isn't possible. He stopped trying after his arms grew weak.

"Yeah, we've got the seal, Kuhan is no more protected" Prince Clyde said.

"You shouldn't have done this!" He muttered

"How can we make the seal work for us?" King Otis asked, pressing his fingers on his face.

"I don't know!!!" He yelled

"I told you I'm only a guardian of the seal!" He added.

King Otis busted in laughter and his son joined.

"Watch Kuhan fall then" King Otis said and left, his son followed.

He went to his court, where his sorcerers were waiting for him. He sat down on his throne, Clyde standing beside him.

"I want us to send a message to Kuhan!"

"To make them afraid, to let everyone of them know they're no longer protected by the seal!" King Otis said

"I've a suggestion your majesty" Elmer, the oldest and wisest sorcerer in Doka said. He was the one who found out how to break the seal

"Speak wise one" The King said

"Let's release the Voiros first" He said and other sorcerers looked at him sternly.

"The Voiros?" One of the asked

"It's a good idea" The king said

"Release the Voiros first" He ordered.

♣️THE ULU RIVER♣️

The mysterious lady, still wearing her black attire that also covers her face, stood by the river and performed the ritual for the elder to appear. The old woman appeared shortly. 

"There's an opportunity for us, the seal has been broken" The lady said 

"The elders could have broken the seal a long time ago, we are the only one who knew how to but that's not how we want to take over Kuhan. We don't have to break the seal before our plan works out" The old woman replied 

"You said only the elders knew how to break the seal, then who broke it?" She asked 

"A Doka sorcerer broke it Lady Gwendolyn, he used to be part of us" The woman replied.

"However Gwen, Protect Kuhan!" The woman ordered

"But......."

"Protect Kuhan" The old woman repeated and her voice echoed as she disappeared.

♣️KUHAN♣️

Next Day.

Scream filled the air, the people of Kuhan were running helter skelter for their dear lives. Some didn't even know what or who is chasing but they had to run since others are running too. Everyone was entering their houses, running away from the three evil creatures, the Voiros.

The Voiros are creatures of evil magic. They're like humans but with burning heads, they've no eyes and they don't walk, they float. A single touch from them turns the victim into ashes.

"Your Majesty, there's trouble in the kingdom!!" A royal guard said, he ran inside the King's court hastily. He was panting really heavily.

"What trouble?" King Emmett asked, he was holding a meeting with the Kingdom's advisors, Lady Blythe and the Knight commanders about the broken seal.

"There are some kind of spirits killing everyone" The guard spoke.

"Their heads are burning......."

"Voiros" Lady Blythe cuts in and stood up. She stopped by the guard and unsheathed his sword, took it with her.

She got outside the palace and saw the Voiros approaching.

"Jus fi turma eli sta bhun" She casted a spell on the sword and walked to the Voiros, the spell is a powerful one, capable of killing a spirit. 

"She stabbed through one of the Voiros and it disappeared, she stabbed through the second and it also disappeared. 

" Too easy" She thought. 

The last Voiro grabbed her by the neck, the sword dropped from her hand, she'd have turned to ashes immediately if she is a normal human but still she was burning from inside. 

A young girl rode her horse to them, she swiftly jumped down from the horse and took the sword, she stabbed the last Voiro, saving the priestess's life. 

Lady Blythe gasped and looked up to see the young girl who helped her. 

"Princess Roxanne" She slowly said.

"Are you okay my lady?" She asked.

The guards rushed to them and helped the priestess up.

"Take her to her chamber" Princess Roxanne ordered.

Roxanne is Kuhan's princess she's 11 years of age!.
