It had been three days since Thorne had last contacted his grandfather to check on him, as he was not well. His grandmother had an uneasy feeling. She took her phone and dialed Thorne’s butler, Andrews.

When it was connected, she said, “Hello, Butler Andrews. Is Thorne in the beach house?”

Butler Andrews shook his head and replied, “No, Madam. He is in his matrimonial mansion. He called me yesterday morning and asked me not to disturb him. He indicated that he was busy with a project.”

Mrs Ferguson Senior furrowed her brows, and then she bid goodbye to Butler Andrews. Then she turned to her husband and asked, “Hubby, do you know if the company has any projects underway?”

Her husband shook his head and asked, “Why don’t you ask Hayden, my wife?” She nodded her head, then she dialed Hayden’s number. When it was connected, she asked, “Hayden, I heard that Thorne is currently busy with the project. Is it true?”

Ever since Thorne realized that he had been a stand-in, he had locked himself
