The instant Aarya stepped out of the office, I headed for my car. I would never leave the building until I’m sure she had left for the day. I started up my Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the powerful engine purring to life. My collection of cars is impressive, with several custom vehicles in my garage.

Suddenly, a mighty roar echoed from the sky. Damn it, Aarya just left the office. And it’s pouring rain. Glancing at my watch, I realized how late it had gotten. As I drove by her, I honked and shouted for her to get into the car.

She slid into the seat beside me and shut the car door, looking quite unsure. As if she would damage the vehicle if she sits on it. I would sacrifice myself if that makes her better, a stupid vehicle is not important. When I glanced at her, I noticed she was soaked and shivering from the cold rain. Her usually tanned complexion had turned pale, and her lips quivered. She clutched her hands in front of her, desperately trying to stop them from trembling.
