Over the next few weeks, I wait for it to happen, wait for the Guardians to come for me. Every time the bell above the door to the shop rings letting me know someone is here, my heart stops and my stomach clenches in fear. Yet, nothing happens. Nothing. They didn’t know it was going to be an interrogation, but they found out the minute they walked in. Beta Trevor and his Alpha both indicated that they had nothing to do with Gwen’s scheming and Leana confirmed that they were telling the truth.
