Samantha

There were days I wanted to just run away, and go and live with humans, but I knew how difficult it would be. We lived differently from the humans, it would have been difficult to fit in if I left now. I did not have the skills or the education to survive in the human part of the world. My parents never saw the need to integrate with humans, and that had now affected me. I knew I would have to leave the Yellow moon pack one day, but I needed to get my wolf before I go. With my wolf, I believed I would be able to survive the world outside the yellow moon pack. I wasn't being paid for my work as the other pack members, because of that, I knew it would take more effort for me to survive outside the Yellow moon pack.

The dog incident was on my mind for months and my blackouts had gotten worse. It was so bad that most of the pack knew about it and didn't fail to tease me about it at every opportunity they got. My new name was space dog, derived from the community party event and my blackouts.

I spent most of my days working and avoiding the pack members. I would sneak in to do my chores and hide at the back.

The teasing and bullying were minimalised this way, but the mental abuse remained.

Alex had gone night hunting and decided to let me retire early instead of waiting for him to return. I was glad because I would get some good sleep. On my way back to my room, I was accosted by some wolves.

"Rogue," one of them called out, approaching me. I stepped back. There was no use running away from them because I knew they would catch up with me.

I remained silent and kept my eyes to the ground, praying to the moon goddesses that they would get bored and walk away. Unfortunately for me, they came closer.

"Have you learned any new tricks?" one of the guys mocked me, referring to the dog incident at Alpha Alex's party.

They all began to laugh. Before I knew it, I was surrounded. The one behind me grabbed me and pulled my hands to my back.

"Alpha Alex teach you any new tricks, space dog?" the supposed leader said, walking close to me while his friends held me in place. Soon I could feel his breath on my face, and it reeked of alcohol.

"Please let me go." I pleaded, and he smiled.

" Not until you show me some new tricks," he said with a big grin.

Suddenly he started to violate my body with his hands. I screamed hard. The moment I screamed, he pressed his palm over my mouth to shut me up, but I didn't relent. I bit hard on his palm till I drew blood. He pulled his hand with a yelp, I managed another scream, he punched me hard across the face, and I fell. I began to fear what was about to happen to me. I was isolated. Most of the pack members were in their quarters. No one would save me. I knew I had to try to get away. I intended to run back to the Alpha quarters. They pinned me down and the asshole came over me and reached under my skirt. one of them covered my mouth with all his strength so I couldn't scream. The drunk bit down on my nipples through the fabric of my clothes and the pain was blinding. I felt his hand pull on my panties and tears began to fall from my eyes. Jessy had told me once that this would happen, but I didn't expect it would. I tried to space out but the I couldn't, so I prayed.

Alex

On my way back from hunting, I heard a scream. It was unusual at that time of the night, so I hurried to go and check what it was. I only heard the scream once, so I wasn't clear what direction it came from. Fearing what might be happening, I prayed the person would scream again. It took a few seconds, but the second scream came. It was towards the staff quarters. I immediately shifted to my wolf form to enable me to get there faster.

I was appalled by what I saw. Four wolves were trying to have their way with Samantha.

I summoned the Alpha authority and commanded them to stop.

Samantha

A huge black wolf stood some feet from us. It was bigger than the regular wolves. I was the first to see it. Before I could do anything, my attackers had stopped and stepped away from me.

Alex

I recognised the four wolves that had tried to r*pe Samantha. I was going to make an example of them. R*pe was unacceptable in this pack, and as the future Alpha, I intended to make that clear. I ordered them to return to their quarters. The four of them moved immediately, but Samantha lay on the ground shaking. I tried to use my Alpha authority on her to return to her quarters, but it did not work. This baffled me because no ordinary wolf could resist an Alpha's authority. I knew I needed to investigate. Samantha's ability to resist Alpha's authority was not a good thing. I knew I had to change back to my human form to give my order.

Samantha

While I lay on the ground shaking, I saw the huge black wolf transform back to its human form. To my surprise, it was Alpha Alex, and he was naked. I looked away immediately.

"Go home, you are safe," he ordered and went away. I walked back to my room in fear.

When I resumed work the next day, I was summoned to the Alpha's office. On getting there, I saw Alpha Alex and his father waiting for me. I greeted them with all the respect I could summon. I was scared I had done something wrong.

"Samantha, how old are you now?" Alpha Wildbreed asked.

"I am eighteen years old," I replied, confused.

"We have asked around about the Blackwell family, and no one knows them. Is there anything you can tell us about your family?" he asked.

I began to sweat. Of course, they wouldn't find anything about the Blackwell family because they didn't exist.

"My parents kept a lot from me, Alpha," I lied.

"They didn't tell you anything about your family and lineage?" he asked, and I shook my head.

"At what age would your wolf emerge?" he asked, and I told him twenty-one. He nodded and dismissed me.

Alex

"Father, I don't think it is wise to keep her here. She can resist Alpha's authority. That is dangerous." I pointed out.

"Let's wait till she gets her wolf and see what happens. Besides Alex, you are not alpha yet, until I officially hand it over to you. You can use some Alpha authority because you have Alpha blood. Maybe Samantha Blackwell is stronger than the average wolf. " he said with a smile and dismissed the conversation.

"I don't like the way she is looking. Put her on the staff payroll. She has earned it," he finalised.

I knew I couldn't argue with him. Although Samantha was clumsy and absent-minded, she was very hard working. I agreed with my father's decision. Besides, it was for the best. If she was wise, she would save some of her earnings because I intended to make our pack rogue-free when I became Alpha.

I knew it would be fatal to let the matter rest, so I put Robert and Mason to investigate the Blackwells. No matter how long they committed a crime, there would be a record of them in the wolf society.

Even with your warning in the disclaimer, I'm having a hard time to enjoy your story as a romance - to me, it's more like a drama - because the ML is simply horrible. I'll keep reading in the hopes of seeing him groveling in miserable pain and humiliation, or maybe his demise, I'm not sure! hahaha

His father seems nicer than him. Why couldn’t he be nicer also? Although the alpha still allows the pack to treat the toqgues so badly and starve them

  • Spirit Wolf   Chapter 98 Beginning Of Our Ever After

Samantha We returned to the pack with Glover as our prisoner. The red wolf had secured the head of defence, Mr Reynolds. I had special plans for him. We lost two apex wolves, and eight wolves were injured. Judging by our odds, I knew we were lucky. Just as Alex once told me that suffering casualties were part of our job description. We couldn't always have it all. I braced myself and ordered an honourable burial for the deceased. We knew reporting Mr Reynolds would be useless because the government was in on it. So I decided to take the laws into my hands. He was going to witness what he made my mother witness ten years ago, because of his greed and lack of humanity. I never said I was a saint. So I sent him home with two delta spirit wolves. I had them slaughter his family in his presence and bring him back to the settlement. He would work as a slave until he no longer had use anymore, then he would be killed. We made sure he wouldn't dream of escaping by framing him for the dea

  • Spirit Wolf   Chapter 97 Stand Off

Samantha. It was time to finally move in on Glover. We intended to sneak up on him. I and Sylvester were going to scout the area first then send a signal. Alex had protested, but eventually, he had to agree. He was new to the terrain, wereas Sylvester knew the area better than me. Together, we were less likely to accidentally alert the enemy of our presence. Alex held me all morning. We made love more than three times. I began to fear he was up to something because this was exactly how he behaved when he rejected and dumped me in the human town in a bid to 'save my life.' " I hope this is not you saying goodbye?" I asked, lying in his arms, and he laughed. " You wish babe. You are stuck with me till the end." He said and began to tickle me. I laughed so hard I had to control myself to breathe. " I am just getting pumped up for the fight," he confessed and winked. He tried to make it seem as if he was simply drawing on our mate bond for energy. He did not need to do that for the s

Samantha Discussing the mutation with Alex was easy. Having faced hunters several times, he believed the mutation would be an advantage. He didn't hesitate to elaborate on how fighting against the hunters with only our jaws and paws would be a bad decision on our part. Hunters used specialised weapons and talismans in battle. We wouldn't stand a chance if we are unable to dodge them and attack them like humans. The fact that everyone would be in their right senses after transformation was good news too because he believed that was what deterred most of them in the first place. The marking wearing off after three days was a plus. Although it was easy to explain to Alex and convince him, I doubted it would be that easy with the elders. W

  • Spirit Wolf   Chapter 95 How He Died

Samantha I sat alone in the alpha's office contemplating when we could start searching our cabins in the woods. Alex's idea was excellent. It was normal that he would think in that direction. He had fought and defended his pack even before his father went missing. He had all the experience and training that I did not have. I sat there wondering where we would start the search. If we would spread out and search different cabins or if all of us would just go to the one I spent the night in with Sylvester. We needed to be careful how we moved so we wouldn't tip them off. Someone knocked on my door, and I asked the person to enter. It was my mother. I smiled immediately I saw her. I had never imagined that I would see her again after that night that we parted in the woods. The memory came back to me in a rush. My mother had allowed me to ride on her wolf's back to escape the massacre. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be alive. We had run for almost twenty-four hours before we got to th

  • Spirit Wolf   Chapter 94 I Am Boss

Samantha. The journey to the Luna Eclipse pack was a bit longer than expected. It would have been shorter if we went through the forest, but because we were going with the twins, we couldn't do that, so we opted to drive there. leaving with the twins was a tough decision, but we knew that Glover would attack the Yellow moon pack if we left them there. It was best we took everyone that was connected to us along with us. Alex's parents had insisted to join in the fight. We tried to persuade them not to come. Eventually, we allowed his father to come along and insisted his mother remained. Someone needed to remain to run the pack. She was to work hand in hand with Robert Carter and Delta Ashton Whitespear. Abel Wey was too excited about the fight that he made me a bit worried. The fact that he could not die was a plus on our side, but the fact that he had no motivation was a problem. What if he decided to switch sides last minute? He had no allegiances to anyone, nor did he have any af

  • Spirit Wolf   Chapter 93 Our Utopia

Alex. A week passed in peace. We weren't relaxed, but we were relieved. We had time to rest and gather our thoughts. We sat and planned how we will bring peace by putting an end to Glover. With most of our disputes resolved, planning on how to end Glover's reign of terror was all we focused on. Luna Tamar had kept her promise and placed Raphael as the new Alpha of Rosehip's pack. The Blue moon pack members had tried to revolt, but unfortunately for them, Spirit wolves hated being challenged and disrespected. Luna Tamar had killed off their Beta, Gamma and Delta. The rest of the pack did not need much convincing to fall in line. As expected, the Blue moon pack became the Blood moon pack. Raphael tried to make peace with us, but we weren't there yet. A lot had happened because of his grudge. He had let Rosehip mislead him and ruin lives. He was lucky he wasn't involved in the people trading business, he would have died along with his mentor. Although he claimed he wanted justice, he h
