Time flew by fast. Alex had relocated to town, but I made sure we had minimal contact. Helena had been silent for a while, but there was no way I was going to allow her to force me to reconcile with Alex.

The Gamma and Delta of the Luna Eclipse pack had reached out to me. Beta Glover Alex Newmoon and his son had run away from the pack. They said it happened when his son delivered my message to him. I didn't care where he'd run to, I intended to hunt him down and have him pay for what he did to my family.

The pack was in disarray. Beta had bankrupt the pack, so they couldn't rebuild the settlement. He also made away with business documents that belonged to my family. The alpha always handled the financial dealings of a pack and my pack was no different. The Alpha was the only one that was allowed to have dealings with the humans. This was because spirit wolves were a danger to humans. A spirit wolf could turn a human into an apex werewolf hence the need to keep them apart.
