Chapter 12 - I want to kiss you, Avery

Avery was chatting with Joyce when she saw a familiar figure. Joyce was facing her and hadn’t seen the person so when Avery excused herself, she didn’t suspect anything. Trent signaled Avery to follow him and began to walk away. He didn’t stop and walked ahead while she followed from behind as such, no one saw them walking together and no one suspected they were going to meet somewhere.

When Trent got to the chocolate fountain where a lot of people were, he moved further to where there weren’t many people. Avery followed and caught up to him.

From the hedges decorated with lights, they weren’t easily seen. Avery walked faster and hugged him from the back. “I’m sorry, I hurt you.”

Trent turned to face her, leaving a little gap between them. He didn’t want both her and himself to fall into trouble but neither could he hide what he felt when he saw them kissing like two love birds. “I was afraid that you had fallen for his charms.”
