Scarlet could already feel that this wasn’t going to be good but she waited nervously to hear the options.

“One, you will work on those files and submit them first thing tomorrow.” Her eyes lit. Her boss would cover up for her. Mr. Nox was very understanding and kind. But Anderson’s next sentence took away every drop of hope she had left.
