Chapter 20

Amber got into Stephen’s car because she didn’t want to argue with Stephen anymore. If she goes against Stephen’s wishes, they will only spend more time in the parking lot. She rode quietly while Stephen looked thoughtfully at the road. Until Amber realized that they had passed where her condo was.

“Where will we go?” Amber asked Stephen.

“We will eat dinner first,” replied Stephen.

Amber looked at the time on her watch; it was nine at night. A restaurant is still open today, but he wonders why Stephen went out so late and if he will still eat.

“We’re here,” said Stephen. He immediately went down, and Amber hurriedly opened the door on the other side.

Amber was embarrassed, but she didn’t do anything else. She was even more shocked when Stephen held her hand. She looked at it and could feel her heart beating fast again. She wanted to take his hand out of Stephen’s grip, but he couldn’t because Stephen tightened his grip. After all, she just followed Stephen.

They entered the Indian Fo
