Chapter 36

Stephen was surprised to see his grandfather and his parents. He was just planning this morning that he was going to visit his parents at the site but why are they here now? Engineer Anderson also did not tell him that his parents were returning to the City.

"Chairman, Mom, Dad. What are you guys doing here?” asked Stephen. Amber was still behind him so he turned back to Amber. "Just go to your place, I'll just talk to them," Stephen whispered.

Amber immediately nodded to Stephen and then greeted the guests before she went to their cubicle. Stephen's mother, Sandra, observed Amber and noticed that Stephen did not order Amber to get even tea or coffee for them. Instead, Stephen asked them to enter his office but the Chairman refused.

"We will talk in my office," said the Chairman seriously. His assistants went first and they just followed.

When they entered the chairman's office, other employees approached Amber one after the other, which surprised Amber. Her eyes widened in shock when
