Suddenly she jerked awake sitting up straight on the bed. She turned her head to the side to find it empty and cold. She shift closer to the wall. She brought her knees up and hugged them close to her chest.
Cold...?
Why was she suddenly cold...? she questioned internally as a chilling sensation ran down her spine, making her shudder uncontrollably.
She jumped off the bed and ran towards the wide opened windows and slammed them shut but it got colder. "Damien!" She called out but was met with silence, a chilling silence that felt unsettling in her stomach.
she opened the bathroom door, scanning the inside for the other person but she found it empty but her gaze landed on Damien's cell phone. She went and picked it up and walked out from the bathroom, then out from the bedroom, downstairs to the living room to find it empty and oddly quiet. Suddenly, the feeling of horror crept its way to her stomach.
