POV: Ian Greco

The formal trial began two weeks after my transfer.

Prosecution presented comprehensive case built on Emilia's testimony, documentation I'd kept of my schemes, and victim statements from everyone I'd manipulated. The evidence was overwhelming and indisputable.

My court-appointed lawyer tried arguing diminished capacity. That my psychological profile suggested inability to understand emotional harm I was causing. That I was effectively disabled by lack of empathy rather than deliberately cruel.

"My client isn't evil," he argued. "He's psychologically atypical. He genuinely doesn't understand why his actions are harmful because he lacks emotional framework to process that harm."

The prosecution countered with my own documentation. "The defendant kept detailed notes about his victims' emotional states. He understood exactly what harm he was causing. He just didn't care because intellectual curiosity mattered more than human suffering."

They were both right. I understood e

POV: Ronan MontagueIan and Lady Macbeth stood side by side in the ruined courtyard. Both bound. Both surrounded by guards and witnesses. Both facing judgment for fifty murders and decades of systematic corruption. The moment I'd been waiting for since Juliana's death. The chance to see her killers face consequences."The assembled pack leaders have reviewed the evidence," Vincent Capulet announced. His voice carried across the courtyard. "Communications. Financial records. Testimony from victims and witnesses. The conspiracy is proven beyond any doubt.""This is a farce," Lady Macbeth said calmly. "A trial conducted by traumatized children and grief-stricken parents. You have no authority to judge Council members.""The Council has no authority over us anymore," Marcus Montague replied. "You destroyed that authority when you used it to murder our children. This tribunal represents every pack you betrayed. Every family you destroyed. You'll answer to us."Ian laughed. "Answer to you?

  • Star-Crossed Wolves: Silver Moon Rising    "The Omega's Ghost"

POV: Desi WhitmoreOtto's journal sat in my jacket pocket like a promise.I'd been carrying it since Cassio gave it to me. Reading his entries. Understanding how Ian had systematically destroyed someone I loved. Seeing the evidence of manipulation that had driven Otto to violence and then death. But I'd also seen something else in those pages. Moments where Otto had fought back. Recognized the manipulation. Tried to leave proof that would help others survive. His love for me had transcended the lies. Even when Ian's poisoned words made him doubt me, Otto had kept searching for truth. Had kept fighting to be better than the darkness wanted him to become. That was the Otto I needed to channel now. Not the broken victim. The fighter who'd refused to let manipulation define him."Desi!" Helena called from her position. "Ian's breaking containment! He's got a weapon!"I ran toward the commotion. Ben was down. Bea was with him. Ronan was coordinating defenses. Everyone stretched too thin an

POV: Bea SharpeFighting beside Ben felt like breathing. We moved as one unit. His strategy covering my aggression. My strength protecting his vulnerabilities. Eight years of rivalry had taught us each other's patterns so completely that we didn't need words anymore.Ian's remaining guards attacked from three sides. Professional killers following their final orders.Ben went low. I went high. We cleared the first wave in seconds."Left!" Ben called.I was already moving. Blocked the strike meant for his ribs. Countered with an elbow that dropped the attacker."Behind you!"Ben ducked under my swing. Took out the guard who'd been circling for my back.Perfect coordination. Like we'd been fighting together our whole lives instead of against each other."We're good at this," Ben panted."We always were. Just pointed at the wrong targets."Another wave of guards. More desperate. More willing to use lethal force. We met them together.I'd spent years believing Ben was my enemy. The golden

POV: Ronan MontagueIan held the detonator like it was a trophy.I assessed the situation instantly. Twelve students bound in silver. The ritual chamber structurally compromised from earlier fighting. Explosives planted throughout the facility. Everyone exhausted from hours of combat. And Ian standing in the center of it all, holding our lives in his hand."Nobody moves," he repeated. "Or everyone dies."The mate bond's ghost ached in my chest. Juliana had died in a place like this. Sacrificed to fuel someone else's ambition. I'd failed to protect her.I wouldn't fail these students."Ronan." Bea's voice was low. "He's bluffing. Has to be. Blowing the facility kills him too.""He doesn't care. Look at his eyes. He's past self-preservation."Ian heard us. Smiled. "Your Alpha is correct. I'm perfectly willing to die if it means proving my point. That mercy is fatal. That trying to save me instead of kill me gave me this opportunity.""So what's your endgame?" I asked, buying time. "Kill

POV: Ian GrecoThey thought they'd won.I watched from the shadows as students celebrated their supposed victory. Lady Macbeth captured. King Alexander retreating. The conspiracy exposed.Fools.They didn't understand that I wasn't part of the conspiracy. I was the conspiracy. Every manipulation. Every death. Every broken bond was my art. My masterpiece. And they'd tried to destroy it.Tried to prove that love was stronger than psychology. That truth mattered more than carefully constructed lies. That their pathetic resistance could overcome decades of perfected technique.I was going to show them how wrong they were. The ritual chamber was exactly where Lady Macbeth said it would be.She'd made a deal with me during our brief overlap in custody. My freedom in exchange for completing her ascension ritual. She'd provide the framework. I'd provide the sacrifices.Perfect symbiosis between ambition and methodology. The twelve students Emilia had "saved" were already gathered. Not in the

  • Star-Crossed Wolves: Silver Moon Rising   "Redemption's Price"

POV: Emilia GrecoMy brother was a monster.I'd known it for years. Watched him destroy people with calculated precision. Seen him take pleasure in others' pain. Recognized that the charming façade he showed the world hid something fundamentally broken. But I'd stayed silent. Enabled him. Let my fear of family loyalty override my moral obligation to stop him.Now I stood in front of the assembled pack leaders, students, and Council representatives who'd converged on Moonrise Academy. All of them waiting to hear what I knew about the conspiracy. And whether I deserved to live."State your name for the record," Vincent Capulet said. He'd taken charge of the impromptu tribunal after King Alexander's withdrawal. His grief made him merciless."Emilia Greco. Sister of Ian Greco. Daughter of Council Chairman Victor Greco.""And your relationship to the conspiracy?""I knew about it. Not all of it. Not the full scope. But I knew Ian was manipulating students. Knew my parents were involved in
