Chapter Thirty- Two: Cold feet
I had a wonderful time with Lucas near the pond. He helps me to let go of all the hurt I have been through while we get to know each other. He helps me to heal from all the pain and hurt I have been through. We too enjoy our time spent near the pond. We enjoy it so much that it had become our favourite spot we would visit whenever Chloe and her dad, Mr. Martin went to work. We went there for days after our first date, the day we got to know each other and fell in love even more.
Lucas would always ensure I arrive home before Chloe and Mr. Martin return home and too to prepare dinner. We didn't want any of them to be suspicious that I was leaving the house whenever they went to work. Lucas once tasted my cooking and he loved it. My cooking was so delicious to him. I would have to always share a plate for him and give him secretly. We did our best to keep our relationship secret until we both were ready for others to know.
