As they moved toward the warehouse, gunfire cracked from every side. Smoke rolled over the docks. Allies and cartel men collided in a chaotic mess as Delgado’s remaining loyalists dug in around the steel warehouse.

Delgado wasn’t giving up.

Nolan moved tight beside Ashley, firing through the gaps. Jax smashed through anyone blocking the way. Cole never let Ashley out of his sight—dropping shooters the second they aimed at her. Ace and the allies attacked from behind, forcing Delgado’s men deeper into the building.

They were gaining ground.

Too fast.

Too clean.

But Delgado didn’t make mistakes.

Ashley felt the shift first. The sudden silence ahead. The uneasy stillness around the warehouse doors.

Nolan brushed her elbow. “Something is off.”

He was right.

A wall of heavy boxes blocked the main entrance. A choke point. Way too perfect.
