Don't stand in my way

Ronnie's point of view:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear.

It was morning, and I needed to get up.

I dragged myself out of bed and walked to Derek's door. I knocked on it and said, "Derek, it's morning, get up."

But there was no answer.

I opened the door to find Derek's room empty. He must have gone to his lectures already. I was surprised since he rarely wakes up early.

"That bastard," I exclaimed. I knew exactly where he was headed.

He was going to fight Golden boy. There was no mistake about that.

I grabbed my coat and headed for the front door. But it wouldn't open.

I struggled to get the door open, but it wouldn't budge. That's when I realized the door was locked from the outside.

I rushed to find the spare key, but no matter how hard I searched for it, I couldn't find it. Derek had taken the spare key along with him.

I cursed Derek as I paced in my room, wondering what to do next. I couldn't let him fight Golden boy at all.

Then it hit me. Meg!
