Olivia's Pov

Rico insisted on picking me up, so I waited for him by the roadside and together, we went to my mother's place. He asked me for my genre of music and played it for me. He ensured that I was doing okay during the drive.

When he pulled into the building, I sighed. "Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yes, I am," I responded, coming out of the car even when he insisted that he opened it for me. We walked into the living room, surprised to see Mary and Justin both seated and waiting for us. Did they want to get rid of me that fast?

"Oh, Rico" my mother reached out to hug him. "How are you, darling?" They exchanged pleasantries. I would starve to see the look on her face if I hugged Justin the same way. But this wasn't the time to let Rico have any doubts, so I took my seat.

When Rico finished, he joined me on the two-seater couch as we sat close to each other.

"You both look like couples already" my mum squealed. It seemed she was the most excited to get rid of me.
