Chapter 11 (Self-realization)

Athena’s POV

The following morning, Yifa knocked on my door persistently until I reluctantly opened it.

"Good morning, ma'am," she bowed.

"Morning."

"Oh my! You look rather worn out," she remarked after observing me, probably due to my lack of sleep the previous night.

"Just run my bath," I instructed, slumping onto the bed.

"Do you need any medication or something?" she asked, concerned.

"I just need some self-love."

"You should take it easy on yourself," she advised.

"Run my bath."

After having breakfast in my room, I decided to visit my only friend, Tala.

"I'm beginning to grow tired of seeing your face," she teased.

"Heh! Funny," I exclaimed, taking a seat.

"Your expression tells me my advice backfired."

"I don't even want to talk about it."

"I won't say you'll be fine because I've said that too many times. Let's go into the pack and have some fun," Tala suggested.
