“Tessa, please listen, it’s not what you think, okay?” Daven said, looking directly into my eyes.

“What should I think? That I’m in my dad’s friend’s house and I’m getting touched?” I asked him, voice sharp even though my pulse was already climbing.

“I read the text when you slept.”

“What text?” The words left my mouth before the realization hit. I hadn’t cleared my screen. The messages to Jake were still sitting there in plain sight—plans for tomorrow night, the birthday, the virginity I had been saving.

“You want to gift him your virginity as a birthday gift? Really?” Daven asked, lying on my bed only a few inches from me. His voice was low, almost disbelieving.

“No. I’m not doing that anymore. He cheated earlier today. I’m not giving him anything for his birthday. We’re done.”

“Are you sure, Tessa?”

“Yes, Daven. Now let me catch some sleep. Tomorrow’s going to be a busy day.”

He stood, turned back, and leaned down to kiss me goodnight for the second time. This time he was shirtless, wearing only white shorts.

The front of his shorts tented slightly, and my eyes locked on that bulge before I could stop myself.

God, that was a massive cock. Heat flooded my body. My pussy swelled and grew slick in seconds.

“Yeah, Daven. Goodnight,” I managed after what felt like a full minute of staring.

“What took you so long to answer? Why were you staring for too long?”

“No—never mind. I… just goodnight.” Shame burned my cheeks as I yanked the brown bedsheet up to my chin.

Sleep came eventually, but it brought no peace. In the dream, Daven was on top of me, mouth open against my throat, that heavy bulge grinding between my legs until I woke up soaked and aching. My nipples were tight. My thighs were slick. Jake wasn’t taking this virginity, not after what he did. I’d rather give it to Daven.

I sat up, grabbed my pillow, and walked down the dim hallway toward his room. He wasn’t asleep either. He lay with one arm bent behind his head, staring at the ceiling. The moment he saw me, he sat up, concern flashing across his face.

“What happened? Nightmare?”

“No. I couldn’t sleep. Let’s talk about the text.”

I sat on the edge of his bed and placed my right hand on his bare chest. His skin was warm. I dragged my palm slowly down over the hard plane of his stomach, through the trail of dark hair that disappeared into his waistband.

He didn’t stop me. He only watched me with a tight face pretending he didn’t understand exactly what I was doing.

“Okay,” he said carefully. “The text. What about it?”

“A lot about it. But let’s start with my virginity. I want you to take it, Daven.” The words came out shameless and clear.

His eyes widened. “No, Tessa. Victor is my friend. I can’t betray him like that.”

“Really?” I slid my hand lower, under the elastic of his shorts, and wrapped my fingers around the thick, hard length of him. He was already fully erect, hot and heavy in my grip. “But you’re hard, Daven.”

A rough sound escaped his throat. He didn’t pull away. His hips twitched once, pushing his cock into my fist for a second before he forced himself still.

“Tessa...”

"I'm not a child, Daven, and as for my dad? Unless you would tell him"

Daven’s hand closed around my wrist, but he didn’t stop the slow glide of my fingers. His breathing had gone uneven. In the low light, I could see the tension in his shoulders, the way his abs flexed every time I squeezed.

“You’re his daughter,” he said, voice strained. “You’re staying under my roof. This is....”

“What I want.” I leaned in and pressed my mouth to the side of his neck, tasting salt and skin. “I woke up dripping because of you.” I gave his cock another firm stroke. “If you tell me to leave, I will. But don’t lie and say you don’t want it. Your body already answered.”

For several long seconds the only sound in the room was our breathing. Then Daven moved. He grabbed the hem of my oversized T-shirt and yanked it over my head in one rough motion, leaving me bare except for the thin cotton panties that were already soaked through. His eyes dragged over my breasts, my stomach, the dark patch of fabric between my thighs.

“Fuck,” he muttered. “You’re serious.”

“Completely.”

He was about to push in when we heard voices at the door outside.

"Who's in, Daven! Tessa!" a voice shouted.

My God, I'm finished. That is my dad's voice calling from outside. I looked at the wall clock hanging on the wall, and it was already 6am.

"I'm finished, Daven, that's my dad," I said, still looking at his tensed face while I lay there under him, hopeless.

"Yeah, I can see that. I can see him with a lady too. They're holding hands, but I can't figure out who she is."

"A lady?" I asked and stood up. Since I was a teen, I only knew one lady my dad loved that much, and that was Catherine, so hearing he was outside holding hands with a lady made my heart jump out of my chest.

"Let's pretend we're still asleep, Daven. Please, this could get me into trouble."

"No, I can't do that. Quickly, put your clothes back on and go to your room. I'm going to get the door."

He seemed dead serious, so I had to obey immediately. I put my gown back on, grabbed the pillow, and ran back to my room.

A few minutes later, I heard him open the door, so I came out, forming sleepy eyes. At the door stood my dad, with a young lady I had never seen in my life.

"Dad, you're here already," I said, stretching out.

"Yes darling, sorry I woke you up. I had to come take you home before I leave. I have an appointment early this morning."

He came to give me a peck, which I received wholeheartedly. From the corner of my eye, I could see Daven hugging the lady my dad came with, so I had to turn to them.

"So..." I said slowly, "you two already know each other?"

The young woman laughed and slipped her arm through Daven's.

"Know each other?" she echoed. "He's my Dad."

  • Stolen by my Dad best friend    chapter Nine:The Truth Has a price

Tessa's POVDaven was still on the phone when I slipped past him toward the door, his back turned slightly away. I caught fragments of the conversation—enough to know this wasn't a casual check-in."No, Victor. She doesn't know."I stopped cold.*She doesn't know.*What didn't I know?He lowered his voice further. "I told you, I haven't said anything to her."I took a step back, my mind racing through possibilities. My mother. The photograph. Me. All of it tangled together in the space of those four words. Then Daven turned and saw me.He ended the call immediately. "Who were you talking to?""Your father.""What did he want?"Daven closed the distance between us slowly. "He's worried about you.""That's not what I asked."He stopped, and for a moment we were just two people standing in the gathering dark of my room. Then he sighed. "Your father and I have known each other a long time. There are things from back then that aren't easy to explain.""My mother.""Yes."The single word la

  • Stolen by my Dad best friend    chapter Eight: Don't Trust Him

**Tessa's POV**I sat in my car, staring at the words on my screen.*Now ask Daven what happened the night your mother disappeared.*My mother didn't leave. She disappeared. For twenty-one years, Dad had crafted this careful narrative about her walking away—a story with no details, no depth, nothing I could hold onto and examine. But I had a photograph of her with him and Daven, smiling at some hotel I'd never heard of.And someone was watching. When I looked back at the house, the upstairs curtain moved. Just barely. Just enough.I started the car and drove.---I was barely through the front door when Daven called.I stared at his name on the screen for a long moment before answering. "Hello?""Tessa. Are you okay?"Something about his voice—that careful gentleness—made the knot in my chest tighten rather than loosen. "I'm home.""Did something happen?"I looked at the photograph still clutched in my hand. "Why didn't you tell me you knew my mother?"Silence. The kind that confirms

  • Stolen by my Dad best friend    Chapter Seven:The Questions

Tessa's POVI didn't sleep.Every time my eyes closed, I saw Dad standing on the porch as Daven drove away—the weight in his shoulders, the defeated angle of his spine. There was something about that image that wouldn't release me.He hadn't looked angry. Not even disappointed. Just... afraid. And that frightened me far more than anything else could.By first light, I was already sitting on the edge of my bed with my phone in hand, scrolling through empty message threads. Nothing from Dad. Nothing from Daven. 7:12 a.m., and I was desperate enough to call my father. He answered on the second ring. "Good morning, sweetheart."His voice sounded hollowed out."Dad, what happened last night?""What do you mean?""You were with Daven until one in the morning.""Tessa...""Don't tell me it's nothing. I know you." I surprised myself with the firmness in my voice. "Something happened."He sighed. "Can we talk about this later?""No." The word came out stronger than I felt. "I've been asking ab

Tessa's POV I couldn't sleep.I'd been staring at the ceiling for almost an hour, replaying Blake's voice on that microphone, hearing the laughter, feeling the weight of every eye in that hall. But then I thought of Daven stepping forward. The way his voice changed—low, dangerous, controlled. The way he made Blake shrink without raising his voice. My stomach fluttered.I picked up my phone and read Jake's message again.*I like you, Tessa. Can I see you sometime, just us?*Jake was safe. Uncomplicated. My age.I was typing a reply when another message landed. My heart stopped.*You really think I'm going to let you replace me with your own father's friend?*I read it twice. I whispered to the empty room.My hands shook as I typed back: *What are you talking about?*Delivered. No response.I called Blake. Nothing.Called again. Still nothing. Then I tried Daven. The phone r

  • Stolen by my Dad best friend    Chapter five: A promise

"Tessa, wait," Jake called after me as I hurried in behind Blake, my heart hammering with dread.By the time I stepped back into the hall, Blake had already snatched the microphone right out of the MC's hand, ignoring the man's protest. He stood in the middle of the circle, chest heaving, eyes locked on me from across the room."Everybody, I have an announcement," Blake said, his voice booming through the speakers, silencing every conversation at once."Blake, don't," I said, walking toward him, panic rising in my throat."Tell them, Tessa. Tell everyone what you promised me." His smile widened as he looked around the room, feeding off the sudden attention. My blood ran cold."Blake, shut up," I hissed, close enough now to reach for the microphone, but he pulled it just out of reach."Why? Are you suddenly ashamed of your little birthday gift?" he asked, and a few people around us started laughing, unsure if this was some kind of joke or not."She promised me her virginity for my birt

  • Stolen by my Dad best friend    Chapter four : A kiss

Tessa's POVWe got inside the hall, and Daven chose a spot by the window for us to sit at the moment. After a few minutes of sitting and taking small sips from our glasses, the MC called everybody to arrange their chairs into a circle, insisting it would help us bond and catch up properly."Tessa, I'll go wait for you at the end of the hall. Call on me if anything goes wrong, okay?" Daven leaned in and said it low enough that only I could hear."Okay, Daven." I nodded and watched him rise, cross the room, and settle into a seat at the far end. The moment I stood up to join the circle, Monalisa and her crew burst out laughing."Do you do older men now?" one of them called out, covering her mouth like it was the funniest thing she'd heard all week."Did you ever even love Blake? You moved on so fast," another added, rolling her eyes at me."You look pale, Tessa. Is it because you have no mum?" a third one threw in, and the whole group cackled again.Their voices filled the hall, bouncing
