I rounded the back of the white Mercedes, my heart still racing from the near miss.

The driver’s door suddenly swung open.

Aiden almost fell out of the car.

He was panting hard, chest heaving, and coughing violently. His face looked pale and covered in sweat. His eyes were wide and wild.

“Aiden?” I rushed over. “Hey, are you okay? What’s wrong?”

He didn’t answer. He just kept muttering the same thing between coughs.

“Sorry… sorry… I’m so sorry, Zane…”

He tried to steady himself against the car

I stood there smiling like an idiot, twisting a strand of my hair around my finger. My cheeks still felt hot. I turned to Zoey, almost ready to explode.“Who was that?” I asked, my voice soft and dreamy.Zoey stared at me with one eyebrow raised. She shook her head slowly, like she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.“Zara, you are unbelievable,” she said. “You met the guy a few minutes ago and you’re already falling for him. Head over heels in record time.”She walked away and headed to our usual spot near the window at the back of the lab. I hurried after her, still playing with my hair.“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I said quickly. “I’m not falling for anyone. But… you can’t deny he is so cute. And he smelled really nice too. Like fresh soap and something sweet.”Zoey dropped into her chair and chuckled. She gave me that look again. “Just wait until Henry finds out that a new student is about to take his precious Zara away from him.”My eyes widened. A rush of excitem

I turned onto my side on the bed and clutched my stomach as another wave of pain hit me. The tears I thought had dried up came rushing back. Loud, ugly sobs shook my whole body.I glanced at the toys still scattered on the sheets and angrily swept them off. They clattered loudly to the floor.“Why?” I cried out, my voice cracking. “Why would he reject me like that? I was standing right there, completely naked, offering myself to him… and he just walked away?”The hurt burned deeper with every second. I curled into a tight ball, hugging my knees as the tears kept falling. My mind kept going back to the first time I met Zane. Back when everything still felt possible. Back when he looked at me like I mattered. It was a sunny Tuesday morning in high school. The sky was a perfect bright blue, and a gentle breeze carried the sweet smell of freshly cut grass across the compound. Students filled the hallways, laughing, gossiping, and slamming lockers. Some couples stood in corners making out

ZARA’S POVI stood frozen in the living room, staring at the closed door where Zane had just walked out.Tears burned in my eyes. I tried to hold them back, but it was no use. They spilled over anyway. The rejection hit me hard, like a slap across the face. For a moment I just stood there, shaking. Then something inside me snapped. With a loud scream of frustration and hurt, I stormed over to the couch and swept every throw pillow onto the floor. They flew across the room. I marched to the door, opened it, then slammed it with all my strength. The loud bang echoed through the quiet house.I started pacing back and forth, breathing fast and heavy. My chest felt tight, like I couldn’t get enough air. After a few frantic steps, the back of my legs hit the couch and I collapsed onto it.A broken scream tore out of me as the tears finally came pouring down my face.“Did Zane really just reject me?” I cried out loud, my voice shaking. “I stood there completely naked… offering myself to him…

Then his legs gave out.I lunged and caught him before he hit the ground. His body felt burning hot and he was shaking badly.“Help!” I shouted as loud as I could. “Somebody help me!”A nurse who had just come out the side entrance saw us. Her eyes went wide.“Oh my God!” She spun around and ran back inside. “Code blue outside! I need hands right now!”Seconds later, two more nurses and a security guard came running out with a stretcher. They took Aiden from me a

I swallowed hard as I felt my dick starting to respond to the sight of Zara standing completely naked in front of me. My cock twitched and began to thicken inside my jeans, pressing uncomfortably against the fabric. I tried to look away, but my eyes kept pulling back to her body.“Zara, put your nightgown back on,” I said, my voice tight. “Stop whatever you’re trying to do. Have you forgotten I’m your sister’s boyfriend? I’m also your friend.”Zara didn’t move. She looked me straight in the eyes and said calmly, “I haven’t forgotten anything. Not even the fact that you were supposed to be my boyfriend, not Skye’s. I met you first.”I shook my head in disbelief. “What? Are we really back to this again? I thought you gave your blessings for me to date Skye back in high school.”“Gave my blessings?” Zara scoffed, her voice bitter. “I only stepped back so my sister could be happy.”I cut in, frustration rising. “Then what has changed now?”Zara’s eyes darkened with raw hunger. “What’s cha

I slowly lowered the bat and took a proper look around the room. It was an old storage room, full of dusty cardboard boxes stacked against the walls, some broken furniture covered with old sheets, and a pile of forgotten toys that had spilled from an overturned box in the corner. Soft early morning light came in through the small window and the gaps in the wooden shutters.I stepped inside carefully, eyes scanning every corner. Then I heard a faint rustling sound coming from behind the old wooden shelves.I raised the bat again and glanced back at Zara. She was still shivering, her face pale. I signaled for her to stay where she was. She nodded and pressed herself against the wall.I moved toward the sound slowly, heart still beating fast. When I rounded the corner of the shelves, ready to swing, I froze. The bat stayed up for a second, then I lowered it.“Zara,” I whispered, “come see this.”She hesitated, still clearly scared, but I waved her over gently and put a finger to my lips.
