chapter 17 Crashing

Sitting out on the balcony I breathe in the cold brisk air of the night. Curling up in the chair with a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate, I look up at the sky. The stars dance with no care in the world. I wish I was a star with no responsibilities. Erik left with Andrew after dinner, he didn’t say a single word to me but I could see the hurt in his eyes, the pain that stains his soul from my actions. Did he really think I was that weak to lose against Andrew? Or did he know I was going to win and hoped I’d still change my mind? I’m not heartless.
