Chapter fifteen

HAILEE'S POV.

I opened my eyes slowly, feeling groggy and disoriented. It took me a moment to remember where I was - in the enemy's territory, captured and chained to a bed. Panic set in as I tried to move, only to realize that my hands were shackled to the bed frame.

I strained against the chains, feeling a surge of energy and adrenaline rush through my veins. I had to get out of here. I had to find a way back to my pack, to Sebastian. But how?

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. I couldn't panic. I had to be smart, to think of a way out of this mess. As I looked around the room, I noticed that it was dimly lit, with only a small window letting in a sliver of light. The walls were made of stone, and there was a wooden door on the far side of the room.

I focused on the chains, trying to find a weakness or a way to break free. With all my strength, I pulled against the restraints, feeling the metal dig into my skin. But it was no use. The chains held firm.

I slumped back
