Chapter 24 Breathing Under Water

The air left my lungs the moment a huge part of the stone pillar fell on me. I was able to brace myself for the impact a bit and got a few air into my lungs before I was submerged into the water. I bit my lips just to keep the air and my eyes struggled to see and adjust to the salty water as I kept on descending. It finally stopped when I was pinned down between a spiky and coral on a jagged rock and the piece of the stone pillar. I felt the rocks digging into the skin of my waist and I saw blood flowing into the water.
