ELIAS'S POV

I shut the door behind me as I stepped into the staff building suite my parents were staying in. The scent of my mother's home made food hit me immediately, reminding me of home.

As I stepped into the dining room, my mom rushed to me with a wide smile on her face. “Elias,” She enveloped me in her arms. “She stepped back and took a good look at me. “Why are you so skinny? Have you been eating well? You look so tired. Are you sleeping enough? Tell me, is anyone else giving you a hard time?”

I chuckled, letting her hold my face as if I were still ten. “Mom, I’m fine. I can take care of myself.”

“You always say that.” Her thumbs brushed my cheeks, inspecting the scar I got from the fight with Adrian and the rest of my body. “Thank God, I brought enough food. You can eat as much as you want.” She smiled at me as her beautiful Hazel eyes lit up.
