ELIAS'S POV

The trees blurred past us as my team and I sprinted out of Iron Fangs territory, the fifth flag secured tightly around my waist.

Every fortress had put up a fight, but none strong enough to stop us.

My pulse was steady, my breathing controlled.

We were finally gaining momentum.

“Shadow Howlers next?” Liam asked, panting lightly but keeping pace with me.

“Yes,” I replied and he nodded.

“After securing their flag, we go to Crimson claw and get the last flag so we can end this.” Kai said, with so much energy busting in him.

“No,” I replied and able heads snapped at me in confusion.

“What do you mean no?” Kai asked, confused. “After Shadow Howlers, Crimson Claws is the closest fortress. They are the last flag we need to end this match.”

“We’re not going to Crimson Claws’ fortress.”

“Why?” Josie frowned. “How do you expect to get their flag if we don’t go?”
