CELINE'S POV:

THREE MONTHS LATER:

I was anxious because Clara had already sent me a text message that she was coming back to the city the following week.

We made an arrangement for us to meet in our father's house. So far, Jace and I had gotten along.

He took me to his company, and we had some intimate encounters at home, and as husband and wife.

I didn't take Ava back, and after Martin had confronted me, I didn't see him again either.

As it was Friday, Clara told me that she would be in the city by the upper week Saturday, and so we made an arrangement to meet at our father's house. From there onward, I would return to my old life, and she would take over hers.

I was quite anxious as I didn't know if I was ready to part ways from living with Jace.

I had already grown accustomed to him, cooking for him, and chatting with him.

My anxiety peaked, and as I awoke on my bed alone, I rushed to the bathroom to vomit all the food that I had eaten last night.

Celine's POV:After the breakfast came to an end, Jace's parents prepared to leave and his mother said, "I would love to stay, but I have to go home. My dear daughter-in-law, if you need anything, don't forget to reach out to me, alright?"I looked at her face, smiling, and said, "Okay, ma'am."Jace held my hand and nudged me to escort his parents as we followed them to their car, parked in the yard."Take care, Celine. Don't forget your promise to me," Mrs. Joy Augustus said before she hopped into her black Range Rover Sport.Jace's father looked at us, his face laced with a smile, as he said, "Jace, remember my advice to you if you don't want to lose your wife again."Jace chuckled and said, "Alright, Father. I'll keep that in mind. Take care of yourself and Mom.""Alright," Mr. Paul Augustus said, as he was a 70-year-old man. Jace's POV:I was so happy seeing the proud smile on my mother's face. She was so happy to see Celine was back, and her eyes shifted to look at Kaleb."Jace, is this my second grandson? I can't believe that I'm a Grandma of twins?" Mom said, after hugging my wife. And she looked over at Kaleb, who was drinking a bottle of water that Kevin had given him from the double-door fridge in the living room."Come here, little boy. What's your name?" Mom asked, while I moved to take my seat on the dining chair. We had just returned from Banana Island, but my parents and friends couldn't wait for the family reunion.I couldn't blame them. They had missed Celine, and my mother was aware that I wanted to file for a divorce from Clara.Though Mom had been advising me not to file for the divorce so that it doesn't affect Kevin's mental health.According to my mother, divorces are not good because they affect the little kids the most. But after I told my mother the new discoveries that Clara was not

Celine's POV:As I walked into the vast living room of Jace's white duplex, I was stunned because several things in this grand foyer had not changed. The walls were still adorned with beautiful portraits of Jace and his wedding with me as his bride. Seeing that dazzling portrait on the wall, where Jace and I were holding hands, with him standing behind my back, hugging my waist, I could remember every moment of it on our wedding day.My eyes welled up with unshed tears, as I had clearly missed home. I missed everything about Jace.As my eyes shifted to look away from the wall and towards the few people in the living room, Tina and Esther stepped out to welcome me. My eyes widened in shock upon seeing the pregnant Esther."Madam," they looked at me in shock, now understanding that I was not Clara.Yet, Clara maintained her slim figure even though we resembled each other, but I had gained a little weight as I ate a lot."Esther, Tina," I rushed to hug them, because I had missed them. I

Celine's POV:I was anxious when I went into my room to meet Jace and invited him for dinner.I knew that Jace wasn't going to keep his hands to himself.I truly missed him, and I felt bad hearing his side of the story. It felt good knowing that I had a big influence on him, and he thought so much about me, even when I didn't want to get back with him.He was still holding on to the hope of finding me again.Jace came out of my room, dressed in a white robe and black shorts. He then came to the dining table to join me, Kaleb, and Kevin for dinner.Kaleb and Kevin looked at Jace with suspicion evident on their cute faces."Is dinner ready?" Jace's warm and deep voice broke the slight tension as he came to join me, just as Kaleb and Kevin sat across from us."Yeah. We are having rice and fish stew for dinner," I told Jace, and he grinned, taking his seat next to me. He then placed a warm kiss on my left cheek, not minding our children looking at us."Dad," Kevin mumbled, rolling his eye

Jace's POV:"How do you see my home?" Celine asked once she opened her apartment door and led us inside. The living room was painted white and had simple decorations, but her warmth and scent filled it. It made me feel at home, at peace, and I smiled."It's wonderful. Did you live here with Kaleb for the five years after you left me?" I asked her, just as the bodyguard behind us brought Kaleb and my box into her apartment and left."Well, yes," Celine said with a blush, and I smiled."It's fine. I am glad that I found you. Where is your room? Let me take a look," I asked, and she blushed, looking at our two sons looking at us."Kaleb, show Kevin to your room, and you can take his box inside there, alright?" Celine said, gazing at our sons, and they replied, "Alright, Mom."Once Kaleb and Kevin left us, Celine appeared nervous. She didn't want to meet my gaze, so her eyes darted away to every corner but not me."Where's your room?" I asked her once more as I went to pick up my box."Co
