Chapter 35: Avanna Almost Killed

My question instructed Robert to get out of the car. As he stepped out of the car, he walked in confidence to the car parked on the other side of the road, yet in my street.

This was a gray Toyota Camry. A car is very affordable for the average family, and as with this type of car, I knew the woman looking so tired at the driving wheel was not an important person; however, I was curious to know why she was sleeping at her wheel and not at home, like a lone traveler finding solace in the transient shelter of a roadside inn.

Immediately as Robert knocked gently at her car window, I kept my fix on this woman, more like a hawk staring down on the ground from the sky.

And after which, I saw how she raised her head to the effect of how Robert knocked on the car window. She was reddish and heavy, and she looked like she had been there for days.

Seeing who was standing next to her car, though she did not recognize Robert as a man working for me, she rolled down her car window and said,
