Chloe woke up drenched in heat, alone, confused, and weak. Her body was heavy and humming like it was still caught in the rhythm of last night. Her heart pounded in her chest like a drumline, her skin tingling under the soft spill of morning light pouring through the curtains. Her head pounded as if she had drunk too much or screamed too long.

Everything felt too real and unreal at once like she’d just stepped out of a dream that had crawled under her skin and refused to leave.

She didn’t remember getting home. Didn’t remember getting into bed.

She pushed herself up, limbs slow and sore in the best way, and stumbled over to the mirror. Her reflection caught her off guard; pale skin, hair wild, eyes dark and glossy with leftover desire. Her throat was dry. Her lips were swollen, her cheeks flushed.

She tried to blink the sleep away and reached for her hair, pulling it into a messy bun. That’s when she saw it.

A mark.

On the side of her neck.

A real one.

Not just a bru

  • Sugar Daddy Vampire   Chapter 10

The apartment was silent, but Chloe’s mind was anything but. She sat cross-legged on her bed, her laptop casting a pale blue glow across the room. Her blinds were closed, lights off, only the soft hum of her fan filling the silence. She hadn’t been able to shake the feeling since she got home from the hospice. Seeing her mother had grounded her, but running into Noah had stirred up emotions she thought were long buried. And yet… neither of those things was what kept her heart racing. No, it was the bite. The faint glow on her stomach had faded but the mark on her neck was still there. Her fingers occasionally brushed the side of her neck, where the faint outline of a bite mark had begun to fade, but not disappear. She didn’t remember being bitten. Not exactly. Only flashes. The heat. The haze. The way her soul had felt like it was being pulled apart and rebuilt with every stroke of his voice, every brush of his touch. Valerius. His mouth. His fangs. Her body is trembling.

  • Sugar Daddy Vampire   Chapter 9

The air inside the hospice was sterile and faintly sweet, flowers, antiseptic, and something older, sadder, like memories that never fully left. Chloe moved slowly down the quiet hallway, her arms folded around a small bouquet of white lilies. Her heels clicked softly against the linoleum floor, a soft rhythm to distract her from the lingering weakness in her limbs. Her mother had always loved lilies. She hadn’t visited in a few days. Too caught up in… everything. Valerius. The bite. The dreams. The glow. She hadn’t even told her mother about the new job, or the clothes, or the strange, erotic pull she couldn’t explain. But today wasn’t about that. Today was about being a daughter again. The world of luxury and fangs and black silk capes could wait. She rounded the corner to the familiar room but stopped short. A tall man stood just outside the door, clipboard in hand, speaking quietly to one of the nurses. His white coat was pristine, sleeves rolled halfway up strong fo

  • Sugar Daddy Vampire   Chapter 7

Chloe awoke to the softness of luxurious sheets against her skin. The room she was in was not her own. Not the cheap motel she had sometimes stayed in when she needed to escape reality but a beautiful sanctuary full of history and glamour. Every corner of the room was shrouded in shadows, each hiding its own secret. As her eyes adjusted to the dim, warm glow seeping through the half-closed velvet curtains, everything looked red, like spilled wine. Disoriented, she sat up slowly, her hair a wild mess around her face, tangled with remnants of her dreams. Then the door creaked open softly. Cordelia floated into the room. She was dressed in shimmering black silk that sparkled like the night sky. Her brown streaked hair was neatly pinned up, showing off her poise. Chloe recognized her from previous encounters, always the poised figure who seemed perfectly attuned to Valerius's every desire. Was she merely an assistant, servant, or something else entirely? “Good evening,” Cordeli

The marble floors glistened beneath Chloe’s boots as she stepped into the heart of the luxury mall. She moved slowly, carefully, like someone stepping into a dream they didn’t quite believe was real. High ceilings, soft piano music in the background, glass storefronts showcasing mannequins draped in clothing that cost more than her life savings. This wasn’t just a mall. It was a temple for the rich. And Chloe was a stranger at the altar. Upon entering one particular store, her breath slipped away. A rush of cool air brushed over her bare arms, and the scent washed over her like an intoxicating wave. It wasn’t perfume or air freshener; it was the aroma of wealth soft leather, zesty citrus, freshly steamed linen, and whatever elusive fragrance the rich inhaled to remind themselves they’re better. Shelves of sleek handbags gleamed as if they were sacred artifacts, and dresses hung like masterpieces in an art gallery, untouched and revered. She took a tentative step closer, drawn

  • Sugar Daddy Vampire   Chapter 5

The gates of the mansion opened automatically as she approached. This time, she didn’t hesitate. She climbed the winding path, each step feeling more surreal than the last. The silence of the estate weighed heavier in the daylight, every stone and shadow whispering secrets she couldn’t decipher. The same woman greeted her at the door, but this time wore an emerald green gown that shimmered slightly as she moved. She didn’t speak. She only nodded, eyes calm, and gestured for Chloe to follow. The hallway seemed longer than before. The shadows clung to the walls. The scent, rich sandalwood mixed with something darker—seeped into her skin. Everything about this place disoriented her senses, like she was walking through a dream that refused to explain itself. When she entered the candlelit chamber, Valerius was already waiting, this time standing beside a small table. On it sat a single glass of red wine and a silver tray covered with a cloth. “I didn’t think I’d come back,” Chloe
