Aqua's POV.

I placed my hand on my stomach as I strolled along the field, till I got to the racing track. I sat on one of the benches and smiled as I heard people's cheers.

"Biker Dragons, Biker Dragons." The yells and screams continued. My ears almost bleed due to the numerous noises of bikes racing and clashing against one another.

But I still remained seated and refused to stand up. I watched as two skilled bikers, in a helmet and black overall, continued racing, determined to reach the finishing line before the other.

My hand was still rubbing my stomach and before I knew it, one of them crossed the finished line and the field erupted in chaos.

The other opponent, refusing to admit defeat attacked the winner with a broken bottle and people around were cheering up the fight and even betting on who would win.

I knew then that it was my cue to get up and leave since the racing event was over. Two to three years ago, this field became a racing spot for bikers to compete against themselves.

At first, I wasn't too interested until I saw the way one of them handled his bike. Since then, I started buying tickets to watch as excitement buzzed through my veins.

Biker Dragons were one of my favorite riders, though their identities were unknown for they always wore an helmet and a mask underneath.

At first I felt they were creepy, especially the way one of them do glance at me, sending goosebumps all over my body but then as time flew on, I only cared about the entertainment and ignored it.

I was probably overthinking and he wasn't even staring at me.

I often wished Hank, my mate/fiancee was around so we could enjoy matches like this together but I didn't need to wish anymore, for he would be back today.

I couldn't wait to jump into his arms and share with him joyful news.

I stopped by the convenience store on my way to the apartment, glancing at my watch repeatedly and wondering if Hank would be home, waiting for me now.

His plane should have arrived hours ago. He insisted that I shouldn't pick him up so I didn't but now, I was getting impatient. I missed him so much.

Just then, I raised my head up and saw Hank entering the house with a familiar woman. His hands were wrapped around her waist and they seemed to be kissing.

I froze. My heart tightening in pain as I shook my head sideways in disbelief, blinking repeatedly.

"No, no, no." I managed to whisper. It couldn't be.

'I was obviously hallucinating. Must be the symptoms of my condition.' I cleaned my eyes with my hand, hoping it was as I thought but;

No one was at the door but it seemed someone had gone inside for the door was left open. I tiptoed and walked inside, shutting the door behind me.

I took in a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart and assure myself that it wasn't what I think. Just then, a moan echoed in the room, followed by a familiar groan of pleasure.

I stifffened. My legs moving on their own accord towards where the sound came from, towards the bedroom, our bedroom.

'Hank please, don't do anything to hurt me. Don't let my fears be real.' I prayed within as I opened the door to my room.

I stumbled on my footings as I tried to take a step closer to where they were laying on the bed. His eyes were closed, not noticing me as the lady on top, rode his dick in esctasy.

She turned her head and when I saw who she was, a gasp escaped my lips as I trembled. Words couldn't describe the pain that went through me as I clenched my fists.

"Hank." I screamed, tears stinging my eyes as agony ripped through me. My stomach, burning as I felt some, sticky liquid flowing through my laps.

My head felt heavy, the room swirling before me as my legs wobbled. I collapsed to the floor with a huge thud, blanking out as memories of what I just witnessed, flashed through my mind.

How could he? After everything I had done for him and why with her of all people?

I could feel myself sinking, my body feeling heavy as I tried to get up.

"Someone, anyone, please help." I tried to cry out but choked on my words.

Just then, I heard a beeping sound.

What was that?

Before I knew it, I flicked my eyelids open and was greeted with a sharp, blinding light that made me shut my eyes back as my head started pounding heavily.

I opened them again, glancing around to notice I was in a hospital ward with a drip on my hand.

'How did I get here? What was going on?' I pondered as I tried to sit up.

"You are awake." I heard his voice and turned to the front to see him sitting on a chair with a blank look on his face.

'Oh! When did he get back?' I was still wondering when memories of what I witnessed in our apartment hit me.

I let out a gasp, covering my mouth immediately.

I had caught him cheating on me with......

"It's a miracle you are alive, heard you would have died alongside the baby if not for that you were strong." He told me but only some words got stuck in my head.

Died alongside the baby?

Oh my God!

I immediately placed my hand on my stomach and my blood turned cold as it suddenly felt empty.

"I had no idea you were pregnant but I guess it's for the best that you lost the child." His words sliced through me like a blade.

I tried to speak but nothing came out. Rather I coughed as my mouth felt dry, my eyes stinging with tears.

Why? How could he?

I stared at Hank like I was looking at a stranger. He didn't seem like my boyfriend anymore, the guy I had sacrificed my future for, so he could study abroad.

How could he just speak about our child like that? He did not even look remorseful that I caught him with Julia, my step-mother.

My throat burned as I coughed again, heavily but all Hank did was to continue to sit there, staring at me like I was nothing, a nobody.

What did I do to deserve this? Did he even love me? 

Was the man I gave everything for, an illusion? Was the happy memories?

"Stop trying to force yourself to speak otherwise your condition would worsen." He told me and if not for the coldness in his tone, I would have actually thought he cared.

"It's over, Aqua." He got up from the chair and walked towards me as I shuddered.

What was over?

"There is nothing between us anymore since I have gotten my revenge." I watched the side of his lips curl into a smirk, his green eyes flashing with satisfaction as I went pale.

"What?" I tried speaking but ended up coughing badly again, blood spluttering out of my mouth into my palm.

My lips parted in shock at what I saw.

Why was I bleeding and why does my throat burn so much?

"You should listen to me when I tell you something." Hank sighed as his gaze turned deadly.

I suddenly felt an ominous feeling run through me as I feared for the unknown.

"Even though I wasn't around, I still made sure Julia poisoned you whenever you visited your dad's home." Hank revealed and it felt like I had been punched in the guts.

"Too bad you didn't visit often, otherwise you would have been dead by now but the little you took with the shock of catching me cheating on you made you lose the bastard in your stomach. How I wish you lost your life too." Hank glared at me and a shiver ran down my spine as my hands trembled from the so much hate I witnessed in his eyes.

The same eyes that used to look at me with so much love and care.

I shut my eyes tightly, hoping when I opened it back, all these would be a dream but I was so wrong, it was reality.

"But this should be enough even though watching you shattered doesn't bring me enough satisfaction since your mum is dead." Hank continued and my heart began pounding heavily against my chest.

My mum? What does she have to do with this?

Seeing the confusion in my eyes, Hank suddenly burst into a manically laughter that made a huge lump form in my throat.
