Comeback

Beep... Beep... Beep... "We need to get her into the O.R, she is losing a lot of blood." Beep Beep Beep Beep... "She is going into V-Tach, Push one of Epi... Clear." "No change." My mind wasn't thinking clearly. My body was giving up on me. "No rhythm, push another Epi. Charge to 200. Clear." The pressure on my body. "She is back, let's get her into the O.R" When you're so close to death you start thinking of all the reasons you had gotten here to this point. Where someone so close tries to kill you. I was moved to an operating table before they put me out to sleep. I know I've done a lot of bad in this world but did I deserve this? Probably. If I make it, will It happen again? Most definitely. But if we go back to the beginning, I was surprised I kept surviving. My Nine lives were coming up.

As a woman, people have certain expectations and sure have a lot to say about us. How we dress or what we wear. Limiting our abilities because of shoulders and what we do when the workday is done. But when you have the mind of a genius you have the ability to destroy and concur. And that's what I did and what I am going to do. But I was no businesswoman who is fighting for a CEO job. I was no housewife trying to repair things with my cheating. But most of all I was no Mafia leader or falling for a Mafia leader. I was Sugar. And I get what I want not caring who it hurts in the end. Because all people ever do is disappoint and ask for more than given. So you play them like toy soldiers and take more than they got. But if you ask me even when my family is the most untrustworthy. When they call, I come. "Ma'am, we are about to land, can you strap your seatbelt." I buckled my seatbelt and just sat back waiting for the worst part of flying. I mean, I was in my private jet but the thought of going down and crashing wasn't a pleasant thought. You see, most people know me by now as I made a name for myself. When two years ago, I took down a man for no reason other than because my father told me to. I mean how could I say "No" to a man who raised me and reminded me of all I was good for. Power isn't so powerful in the eyes of a man. The plane came to a halt and I waiting for the doors to open. "What are you doing standing there, go get my bags," I told the lady. I walked off the jet and a door was opened waiting for me. "Sugar, it's been a while." Charlie my driver says. I've not been in Las Vegas for so long and I really missed it here. The casinos, best drinks, and most of all the men and women. "It has. Can you drop my stuff off at my hotel, because I need a drink and a distraction?" I asked him which resulted in his smirk. "Of course, where am I taking you too?" He asked. "Just drop me off at the strip somewhere, traffic will be too much for you right now." He nodded his head and closed the door. I looked at my phone and continued to go through the texts on my phone. Weren't important but saves an awkward drive on silence. I was not for that. The door opened up and allowed me out. I started my walk down the strip, and really took the time to think things through. I had a choice but my choice wasn't always the greatest one. Being someone who gets what she wants comes with risk and sometimes it's life and death. I mean escaping death more than once comes with a price. A girl's biggest weapon is her mind. It can bring a man down to his knees, or make him vulnerable. He will be wrapped around your manicured finger. Momma once told me, your body is a temple. Take care of it, and don't take it for granted. Because once you lose it, you'll never get it back. But Daddy always said if it helps get what you want. Still don't do it, if you want the aftereffect of the damage you create. But I play by my own rules. But a little Sugar and Spice makes everything nice. I found myself at one of my favorite bars, catching the attention of Ryan. "Holy son of a bitch, is that?" He hopped over the counter and pulled me into a hug. "Why are you asking that and hugging me before a response." I joked with him. "What are you doing here?" He continued returning back to the bar. "Crown and Redbull. Don't forget the ice." His eyes instantly roll "You never change. So again what are doing here?" He asked again. "Where is Medusa's?" He looked at me and then looked around and back at me like he knew what I was doing. "Why do you want to know where Medusa's is?" He said teasingly. "I have business with the owner so an address will be nice." Words were powerful. You leave it open-ended and you never know what's going to come in. "What kind of business, do you have with the owner?" Then boom you get the attention of whoever you want. Rule number one of being a boss bitch. Sometimes less is more. But confidence is key. I looked over to the voice that was now in this conversation. "Things. Stuff. But the details aren't important." I replied. Ryan handed me my drink that I was never sipping on. "Next street over, you missed it if you hit twisters," Ryan answered me.
