“Bastian, why are you giving advice to 'em? Just let 'em wonder. Because the most important thing is that our business is done and let's get out of here!”

Stella said in a low voice. She glanced at Delana and Robert.

"Miss Steffy, people like 'em, who like to insult other people, occasionally have to teach a valuable lesson. Let 'em know who you are!”

Bastian responded to Stella's speech without diminishing his respect. He did all this for Stella's sake. He did not want his master's wife to get insulted.
