Brandon went away on business on Tuesday. She probably won’t be back in the office for the rest of the week. The prospect of not seeing him for so many days… I feel my chest tighten. I can’t touch him anymore, and now I won’t see him for so many days. This place is hushed and empty without him. It will be training for what it will be like when and if I leave this place.
