Cameron watched the entire day as Montana ran around the house and kept the staff on their toes in order to achieve her perfect dinner.
The moment she walked through that door with her smile reaching her eyes, he knew something was wrong.
Montana was only ever too happy if she had ruined someone's day or life all together. Whatever she did before she came home must have had a adrenaline pumping.
Cameron turned to Chad who was seated at the dinner table while doing his school work. He went to the kitchen and got him cookies and a glass of milk.
"Hey, boy," he greeted as he placed the food in front of Chad and then sat down.
"Hello, Uncle Cam."
"Come on, take a break, you've been staring at your books for hours now."
Chad put his books aside and pulled the plate closer. "Baie dankie, Oom (Thank you, uncle)," Chad said.
