"Namhla?" Mosetsana breathed, her eyes bulging out of their sockets as she rose to her feet, using the table to stand straight since her legs were wobbly.

She could not believe her eyes, Thuso's ex wife and the mother of his two kids was standing there in the flesh and she heard everything Mosetsana had just confessed.

Amandla Namhla Ndabeni looked horrified and then her expression quickly morphed to embarrassment as her cheeks turned a shade darker and her eyes darted to the floor.

"I'm sorry," she muttered under her breath, meeting Mosetsana's eyes briefly. "Do you mind taking a walk with me?"

Mosetsana could have sworn she saw desperation and panic in the woman's eyes, but she could not be sure. She turned to the ladies for confirmation.

Natalia stood up. "I should get to the office, take as much time as you need," she said hastily.
