Author's POV ~

As George's gaze lingered on Scarlett, Dylan felt a growing sense of discomfort. There was something in George's eyes, a spark of mischief that made him uneasy. He didn't trust George, not one bit. The thought of George being around Scarlett, potentially revealing his secret, made his skin crawl.

That’s a beautiful thing.’”Maria nodded slowly, her eyes never leaving his face.“But then…” Ethan swallowed hard. His jaw tightened again. “Then I heard Dylan’s voice in the background.”“Dylan?” Maria repeated quietly.“Yeah. Dylan.” His tone was sharp, bitter. “Talking to Scarlett. Sweet. Flir

He straightened himself and managed to hide his emotions..he didn't want Scarlett to suspect a thing. The bright sunlight outside was a harsh contrast to the dimly lit store, and he squinted, raising a hand to shield his eyes. He took a deep breath, the scent of fresh asphalt and exhaust fumes filling his lungs as he scanned the crowded parking lot. His eyes landed on the mall entrance, and he made his way towards it with purposeful strides. As he entered the mall, the air-conditioned chill enveloped him, a welcome respite from the sweltering heat outside. He spotted Scarlett standing by a cart piled high with color

What makes you say that?” Jasmine asked, feigning innocence.Dylan's brows furrowed and his face darkened as her words fueled more rage in him. He took a step towards Jasmine and pushed her to the wall, “Don't try to play games with me. You and I know that was what you wanted.”“Are you accusing me of stirring things up between us? Wait. Don't tell me you're angry because you slept with me.”“I'm angry because you keep coming between me and Scarlett! And now you've just revealed that you have access to my WhatsApp messages.
