"A date?". Susie was absolutely surprised that she muttered in disbelief.

Jake saw the surprised look on Susie's face and was already thinking that she hated the idea of dating. He was just about to say something when he heard Susie suddenly burst out and laughed.

"Did I say anything wrong?". Jake asked and was already prepared to be rejected by Susie.

"You're asking if you said something wrong?". Susie asked before chuckling even more. She later added and admitted, "Even if you didn't ask me to go out with you, I was already planning to ask you to go out on a date with me".

Hearing these words, instantly cleared the misunderstanding that was in Jake's mind. "So….".

Susie smiled and placed both of her hands on Jake's broad shoulders. "Don't tell me you don't get it? I've fallen for you ever since the day you rescued me from those thugs!". Susie explained. 'Though, I definitely would have dealt with those thugs even if you didn't help me out that day'. Susie thought to hers
