"Hey!" Lou's voice suddenly jolted me from what seemed like a brief nap while I was focused on my laptop.

"Oh, hey, Lou. What's going on?" I inquired, not even realizing she had entered the room.

"Wendy and Pritz have arrived. They're looking for you, so I thought I'd stop by your office."

I quickly stood up and stifled a yawn. I had forgotten that they were coming to finalize the lyrics today. I had been too preoccupied with preparing for Venice's music video shoot tomorrow.
