I was glad to be with Nancy after last night’s storm last night. I had expected there to be a lot of ruins along the way as she drove us to the hospital but it seems there were just minor damages. Everything seemed to have turned out alright. I was sitting on my phone busy scrolling my phone on social media when Nancy turned to look at me.
“Stop scrolling on your phone,” she whispered.
“What? It’s not like we can have a conversation with her,” I responded with a shrug.
She mouthed ‘OH MY GOD’ but gave her a look and she shook her head as we both sat in silence. It was not as if I was being inconsiderate, but I was too focused on the internet trend that had been going on since last night.
