Daciana’s pov

I ignored the pointed glares I got from both mother and daughter, as I made my way into the dining room with Alpha Arnou.

I was more than grateful for the fact that it was just us with no other party attending dinner today.

I gave them both a smile, ignoring their more intense glares, getting hold of myself so as to not bust out laughing, as I had imagined two tiny devil horns on their heads and fumes puffing out their ears and nostrils in a funny way, as I took my seat right beside the Alpha, with his mother directly before me and his sister, after her. The little devils were still growling at me.

Not long after, the doors from the kitchen opened up, revealing the maids who carried with them food trays of various dishes.

They placed down the plates one by one, all without much fanfare, and I could already feel my stomach rumbling, anticipating all of the tasty smells.

“I was about to dig in, when the entrance door flew open, revealing an over-excited Lilian who was bar
