Lillith was awoken by the sound of voice. She tried to turn, thinking she was in her bed and the voices were coming out of her window back at Red Lily Pack. She tried to toss but felt her body was hard to move. She cracked her eyes open and realized she was held bound by a net of meshed jute ropes. She struggled and tried to free herself but it was futile. "Stay still up there!" A voice snapped. "If you're not careful, you'd cut yourself," Lillith looked down from above. Two men stood underneath the net she was in. The man who had just spoken turned back to his friend and said something to him. The other man nodded and swiftly climbed the tree. Lillith watched him in awe. She was good at climbing but this man was exceptional. How was he able to get to the top of the tree in seconds? "Brace up!" The man said and his claws jutted out. The ropes cut immediately and she fell to the ground with a thud, hitting her side and writhing in pain. Her side hur
Lilith was welcomed into a large beautiful room by several maids. Once they saw her, they smiled at her and pulled her into the room. Lucian smiled at her before leaving the room and when she turned to the maids, she smiled. The first one pulled her in. "You're welcome! When the men told us they found a beautiful woman in the woods, we didn't believe you were going to be this pretty!" As for Lillith, she was still taking things in. From this woman that pulled her, to how beautiful the room looked. She was definitely in a dream because everything looked so unreal. So so unreal. The maid pulled her into the room. The other woman sat around her. The first lady, blond and beautiful, asked. "So how did you get here?" "I got lost, I guess," She forgot that these women were Werewolves and could easily detect a lie. She saw the look in their eyes as she spoke. They didn't believe her. Sighing, she rephrased her statement. "Fine! I ran away," "Ran away?
All day, Leon was absent at the palace. He had sent another search party to look for his wife. All answers were negative. He nearly lost his shit. He did. "How the hell do I find her?!" He yelled at one of the groups he had sent in frustration. They said nothing in reply. Just looked at one another in confusion. Leon kicked a tree and walked away. He hated the fact that he had to go through this just a day after his marriage. Things seemed to be going well yesterday but now, things were back to how it was the first day. Delilah arrived with her entourage. She found Leon standing by the lake with a sullen look. Sighing, she went to meet him and placed a hand on his shoulder. He turned to her and she saw how frustrated he looked. "Leon..." "When I find her, I will kill whoever took her in and they'd regret the moment they ever took her in!" "You're still very angry, Leon. I want you to calm down and think up every possibility." "No!" He snap
Leon paced about the room, angry and confused. The thought of seeing another person take his place infuriated him. He wasn't sure he could watch someone else take his place. Sighing, he stopped in front of the window and looked outside. This place was his home and his father had ruled this pack before he was assassinated by those evil men. And now, they had seen an opportunity to make sure he didn't have his way to the throne. It was all Lillith's fault. He swore he was going to find her and punish her for putting him through this! A knock sounded on the door and he turned to find Lucien, he beta, standing by the door. He wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone but with the way things were going, an advice would be good for him. "Come in," Lucian walked into the room. "You look worried, Leon," "Of course, I am," He scoffed. "I have been searching everywhere for her and it seems like she doesn't exist. The throne is fast slipping from my hands and I don't eve
The oath was sealed. Delilah had cut through her flesh with the hot knife, wincing as it seared her skin with heat before letting her blood drop into a bowl. Leon was the next. He did the same and Lucien followed after. Delilah closed her eyes and said a few mantras before pouring the blood into the fire. She turned to the men standing before her. "It is done." "What's our next move?" "Find a woman who is willing. Make sure you explain it to her. Tell her what you really want. He honest," "And what if she doesn't agree to it?" "Kill her and go to the next person," Delilah said with so much resolve. "It shouldn't be hard for you, should it?" Leon nodded his head. "It is going to be an easy one for me, don't fret," "Good," Delilah smiled. "You all can go now." Leon and Lucien stood in the corridor. "What do you suggest? That we bring them here for you to choose?" Leon was silent for a while. He looked like he was lost in his thoughts. "I real
Lillith let him guide her down the steps. A lot of people had their eyes on her. From young women to men to old people. They wondered who this mysterious lady was and how she had appeared here. "Are you nervous?" Lucian whispered into her ears. She shrugged. "Quite nervous if I am to be honest. Everyone has their eyes on me and I might trip over my dress," Lucian laughed and placed his hand on the small of her back before leading her to the middle of the room. He had a champagne flute filled with wine in his other hand. A maid handed a small spoon over to him and he used it to gently hit the side of the cup. Everyone's attention turned to him. He lowered his drink and the spoon to the table behind him and smiled broadly. Then he pulled Lillith close to him. "I am sure you all are quite confused and wondering who this very beautiful and angelic woman is," Lillith felt a blush creep into her cheek. A few women glared at her for no reason. "This
Lillith danced in Lucien's arms. It was beautiful. How things had gone from awry to breathtaking had taken her by surprise. "You look really beautiful, Lillith. These men can't take their eyes off you," Lucien said as they danced in each other's arms. "If care isn't taken, I'd be forced to send all the eligible bachelors from this party," "You flatter me, Lucien," Lillith said as she twirled in his arms. Her hand went back to resting around his neck and his hand rested on her waist. "If you send these eligible bachelors away, what will the other women do? That's the reason they are here. For these eligible men," "Of course, you're right. But they have totally forgotten that there are other women here. Maybe they need to be reminded," Lillith laughed softly. "No. You don't have to do that. You know something? They won't be staring at me if I wasn't this beautiful. So it's good," "Hmm... That's right. I think we're going to be good friends first before anything,"
Leon's men had come back with negative news. There had been no sign of her. His men had even made sure to search the Pack's but it was fruitless. Then where the hell was she? Was she dead or had she been kidnapped? Because there was no way in hell that she wasn't in any of those packs. He was in his study when the news got to him and she commanded the guard who had come with the news to get his Beta. His Beta appeared in no time. "You requested my presence." "Of course, I did," Leon said and shut the book he was reading. "She hasn't been found. It's nearly impossible that she's not in any of the neighboring packs. What do we do?" "We do as the witch goddess has said. We found a new bride,". "And when we do, what do we tell the people? That she ran away and never returned?" His Beta took a seat. "No. There are better and more convincing things to tell them." "Things like what? Dead? You know that won't speak well of us. If she's dead then it m
