Chapter 34

Grayson:

I’m standing on the balcony, perched over the railing. My eyes trail over the nice view of our kingdom, lit by the moonlight, as my mind wanders. I can’t wait for Gabriel to get his memory back, and to see his reaction to when he realizes I’m his mate. My lips curve into a smile as I remember his cute little confession: “Because I have a crush on you.” Gosh, that was adorable.

I’m so deep in my thoughts that I don’t even realize I’m not alone until I suddenly feel those sparks. This feeling... It’s just as amazing as Gabriel described it to me. Wonderful.

My mate wraps his arms around my waist, pressing himself behind me and whispers in my ear:

”Why did you do that?”

I turn my head to look at him.

”Do what?”

”Why did you say you’re my sister? You made me feel so weird and guilty for having feelings for you.” I smile. He stares at my lips with a look I know too well.

Wrapping my arms around his neck, I lean in halfway, waiting for him to close the gap between us.

“Ca
