Chapter 14: Manners

Hearing what Suzan said, Arya narrowed her eyes.

"What do you mean by saying something like that? Do you know who you're talking to?" Kayla was quick to defend Arya the moment she understood what Suzan was implying.

"Kayla, it's fine..." Arya said as she gave Kaya a soft pat on her shoulder before turning to face Suzan. If you have a problem with me, we can discuss it instead of behaving like this." Arya said.

"I'm not doing anything wrong. You should understand how I feel, after all, you were once in the same position as me before." Suzan huffed before smirking at Arya.

The kitchen was silent. One side had already said what they wanted to say while the other was simply speechless. It was like that until Arya sighed and turned to look at Suzan in the eyes.

"Suzan..." Arya called out.

"What? I'm sorry I can't do what you want but I'm busy. Don't you understand, Arya?" Suzan explained in a mocking tone. It was clear that all she wanted was trouble.

"I can clearly see that you're n
