Chapter 25: Pictures

“It isn’t what it looks like! How could even believe a picture first without asking me!” Arya screamed as she crumpled the picture in her hands.

“Arya-“

“You’re saying you expected better from me? Well, I too was disappointed…” Arya interrupted her father with a sneer.

How cheap did they think she was?

“There’s also video evidence.” Her mother said curtly and straight to the point with a painful expression on her face.

“What..?” Now it was Arya’s turn to be stunned once more.

“What do you mean there’s video evidence? I didn't do anything and these photos just used angles to mess with the perspective of what really happened!” Arya once again tried to defend herself.

The silence was suffocating and heavy as she was stared at by her parents who had already stood up from the couch.

“I'll send the video to you and that isn't the main thing as of now.” Her mother said while drowning a glass of water that was placed on the table beforehand.
