After that day, Indira's life seemed to go twice as fast as before.

First, a lawyer from Arya Wiratama's side came looking for her to sign some contracts with him and help Indira to add her name to Arya Wiratama family register. Indira agreed but refused to change her last name to Arya Wiratama. After that, Indira and Arya Wiratama have become legally recognized father and daughter.

Indira still remembers that she and her mother were dumped by the man for less than five million. Indira never expected that one day, Arya Wiratama would seek her out and force her to learn her family tree. Although Indira was disgusted with the man, she had to bow her head for the money.

Once the formalities had been completed, Indira got her money. Looking at the zeros on the check in her hand, Indira even felt that her life was great right now. She started making plans in her mind. She planned to immediately pay off all the debts that had been her nightmare. After that, she would buy a house for her grandmother with the money she had left. Indira also started setting aside some money for her grandmother's medical treatment and daily expenses for the future.

With that much money in her pocket, Indira even felt that the hot wind and her tiredness this afternoon made her feel very happy. She felt that the road to a bright future had just opened up. All her problems were now solved, except for one that remained. She still had to find a way to explain the source of the money to her grandmother. As for the contract marriage issue, Indira had already decided to keep the matter hidden from her grandmother for as long as she could.

The next day, Indira took another half-day off. Early in the morning, she went to the marriage registry office with Angka to register their marriage, take photos, and sign some papers. During the process, Indira could feel that Angka was not in a very good mood. Perhaps it was because they had to come very early to fit in Angka's very busy schedule.

After the whole process, Angka left in a hurry leaving Indira standing on the terrace of the building staring at the photo of the two of them on the red marriage book in her hand. For some time, Indira stood there in a daze. She had never imagined that she would marry the kind of person she had been. Over the years of struggling with debts that were beyond her comprehension, Indira had cut down all her ideas and fantasies about romantic feelings.

But at this moment, looking at the photo of them together in the little red book, Indira somehow felt bitter at the difference in their expressions. In the photo, neither of them were smiling, she looked very quiet, while Angka looked very indifferent. If it wasn't for the red background and that the photo was pasted on the marriage book, no one would have believed that the two photos were marriage photos because they didn't look happy at all.

Indira was currently thinking about the possibility that she and Angka might have been brought together because they were soul mates?

It was not without reason that Indira thought that, but a man like Angka would have been out of her reach if she had not received such a sudden offer from Arya Wiratama.

Indira's reverie was interrupted when the marriage book in her hand was suddenly grabbed by someone. As soon as Indira turned her head, Lawyer Noah was standing next to her and seemed to be busy putting the two marriage books into his briefcase.

"I keep all this kind of stuff, so you don't have to worry about little things like this. There is a car waiting for you in the parking lot, it will take you to Mr. Sangkala's residence."

"Now?" Indira checked the time on her phone screen before continuing, "I only took half a day off."

Lawyer Noah laughed and replied, "You are now the wife of Mr. Sangkala. You don't have to worry about such leave. Come, I will accompany you away."

Hearing that, Indira said nothing and obediently walked after Lawyer Noah until they reached the parking lot. She then got into the car which drove to the northern part of the city.

Throughout the journey, Indira just silently looked out of the window. It was only when the car drove into a large gate that she opened her cell phone and checked the distance to her workplace. Indira licked her lower lip as she realized that it was quite a distance and there didn't seem to be a bus stop nearby.

Lawyer Noah silently glanced at Indira's phone screen and immediately understood the young woman's thoughts. He quickly said, "You don't need to worry because this car will be yours after this. You will have a driver to pick you up and drop you off."

Indira looked at Lawyer Noah in surprise and replied, "Won't that be easy to explain? I won't be able to explain why I suddenly have a luxury car to my coworkers. I'm afraid I would accidentally break our confidentiality agreement."

"You can negotiate the matter later with Mr. Sangkala's head of household," Lawyer Noah replied before calmly returning his gaze straight ahead.

About two minutes later, the car pulled up to the porch of the large, luxurious-looking house. Before Indira opened the door, a middle-aged man in formal attire had already walked quickly to stand in front of Indira.

The middle-aged man said, "Welcome, Madam. I am the head housekeeper here and you can call me 'Uncle Hengki'."

Hearing the welcoming words contrasted with the flat, unfriendly expression, Indira knew that she was not welcome at all and only nodded briefly in response.

"Well, then, I have to get back to work now, excuse me."

Having said that, Lawyer Noah got back into the car and left Indira and Angka's housekeeper standing awkwardly on the terrace.

Uncle Hengki then invited Indira to enter the house while giving her a general introduction to the layout of the mansion. Indira silently felt that she was now like someone who wanted to buy a house as Uncle Hengki continued to explain while walking briskly, "Your room is on the second floor. The entire third floor is a private area belonging to Young Master, so please do not go up without permission. You can eat in your room or in the dining room, but I would recommend that you eat in your room as Young Master's mood swings are unpredictable. The gym and swimming pool on the ground floor are at your disposal as long as Young Master is not using them."

Indira heard the explanation with amusement knowing that she was currently being treated as a temporary tenant. With such feelings, Indira calmly followed Uncle Hengki until they arrived at the room that was Indira's own. Although it was only a guest room, it seemed even bigger than the rest of Indira's previous residence. The room was equipped with a bathroom, a closet, and any amenities she might need. There were even various items such as bags, shoes, and clothes already in the room.

Realizing the direction of Indira's gaze, Uncle Hengki explained, "I don't know your interests, so I just prepared some things that you might need first. You can let me know if there is anything you want to change or anything you need."

"Thank you," Indira murmured.

"Young Master said that you have to go to work every day, so you will definitely need a vehicle. The type of car-"

Indira quickly cut in, "Oh, I don't need a car at all. I'll be staying at my workplace more in the future, so I'll be content with using a taxi."

Of course, Indira knew that this family actually rejected her as a foreigner, so she was conscious of not insulting herself. Thus, Indira decided that she would try to return to this house as quietly as possible and let everyone continue to dislike her.

"Well, you can let me know if you change your mind or need anything." Uncle Hengki said after recovering from his surprise.

The two of them then walked back down to the ground floor and accidentally met the gaze of Angka who had just entered the door.

When Angka saw Indira, the man was clearly surprised. He didn't seem to expect that she would show up at his house.

Seeing Angka's expression, Indira chuckled softly at how quickly the man changed his facial expression.
