Whatever I am not gonna spare their lives. I was about to ran after them when they both were shot down by an arrow. I turned and saw 2 dozen guards along with Night. Behind them were standing King and queen and other officials.

Seeing me drenched in blood Night ran towards me

“ Enola! Are you okay?” he asked concern dripping down his voice.

That is when we heard painful cries of Shade.

Without a second thought we ran towards him.

Shade was sweating and looked pale. my eyes drifted towards his wound and saw his blood was deep red almost black instead of red.

“The arrow is poisoned” I said and looked at Night. He was shocked and got paralyzed. I knew he loves Shade more than himself and his brain is too numb to process anything.

“ Call the imperial doctor” The King yelled but I knew he didn’t had time.

I need to get the poison out of his system.
