As we sat by the fire, I kept having a nagging feeling that we were being watched. I asked Alpha Blaze, “Do you have patrols out tonight?” He replied, “We do. The mayor led the way to the seating area and took his seat at the table. He started the introductions, “Let’s start at the left end. Please introduce yourselves.” The woman on the end was a tall blonde with entirely too much makeup on. She stood, “I am Laura Foxx, secretary.” The man next to her was a short dark-haired man with a bushy mustache and beard, “I am Maxwell Zielinski.” The next was a woman with brown hair and really pretty blue eyes, “My name is Katherine Holmes.” The next person was an extremely tall man, around seven feet tall. Alpha Blaze led King Mateo, Prince Aidinth, Luke and me to his conference room and we talked as we waited for Cole Brown. When a servant guided him into the room, I involuntarily scowled at him. When we arrived at the bar, Zendaya, Chloe and I chose a table that was close to the booth that Alfred Collins would be sitting in and ordered our virgin drinks. I smiled, “As the night goes on, I will act more and more drunk. We walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I poured a cup of coffee for each of us and sat with him at the kitchen table while we waited for everyone else.
