JOANA'S POV

“You heard me right, and I'm going to say it again, Joanna and I are getting married.”

My whole world froze, but the next thing I heard was a loud thud, Clinton had punched Caleb hard in the face.

Caleb was about to launch at Clinton when I threw my pillow at them.

“The both of you should stop now. We are in a hospital for heaven's sake. It's either you behave or I'll get security to throw the both of you out.”

Though my voice was calm, my breath was unsteady, I hated fights, and seeing them fight in front of me was unsettling.

“I am a patient, a recovering one. How do you expect me to recover if two adults keep fighting like children.”

Caleb and Clinton stood far apart, “now, I think it's time for you, Clinton, to leave, Caleb and I need to talk.”

“Are you really getting married to him?” Clinton's voice was calm, but that didn't hide the fear laced in it.
