“Come to me, my little dove.” His gaze held hers, she swallowed down hard.

Her gaze kept shifting from him; to the two men standing behind the man he was torturing. Her legs wobbled, but fear forced her to take a step forward.

Her hands gripped the hem of the lacy night wear, while she approached him carefully.

Almost at where he sat, his hand stretched out and he pulled her toward him. He yanked her onto his lap with a sharp motion, her chest rose as she flinched.

He held her right hand up to his face, and his fingers grazed the bandaged wrist. It almost felt tender, like he cared. But who would watch their ten million dollars goods get hurt?

“Doris patched you up good. Pretty girls shouldn’t bleed, unless it’s for me.” His voice, dropped to a low rumble against her ear.

“Wh-what is this?” She whispered softly, panic clawed its way up her throat. Her eyes couldn’t stop watching his movements on his gun, the way he twirled it smoothly on the table, how neat it looked.

Lucian leaned close to her face, his palm rubbed her thighs. She tried readjusting on his legs, but his other hand wrapped around her waist slid down her ass.

“This….” He murmured, his palms moved deeper on her thighs under the lacy dress, her mouth opened slightly and she arched softly, her eyes shifted shyly to his men but they weren’t watching.

“This is breakfast…” His nose grazed her cheeks, then he stopped abruptly. The man in the chair coughed, blood splattered from his mouth. His head gazed down in fear,

Lucian picked his pistol, tapping the barrel of the gun against the table. His harsh demeanor returned, and if looks were daggers then the man would be dead by now.

“I’ll take your daughter. She’s quite a suitable down payment for your debts, don’t you agree?” He grinned.

“Ma-master, please.” The man coughed, “Sh-she’s only 8” tears streamed down his face, mixing with the fresh blood pouring from the flesh wound on his cheeks.

But Lucian turned his attention back to Aria, his fingers slid up her thighs again. This time deeper, closer to her entrance, he gave them a gently squeeze and she huffed slowly.

“What should we do with him, little dove?” He asked softly, his eyes on her.

Aria’s gaze remained on the man; he raised his head up to meet her gaze.

In his eyes, she could see him desperately begging her to spare his life that was if any choice she made even mattered.

His daughter was too young? What could Lucian possibly want with her?

“L-let him go…please” Her voice quivered,

A dark chuckle rumbled beside her, his voice low and dangerous.

“Mercy belongs to God, piccola. Punishment is mine to give.” He muttered, his eyes gleamed with coldness and harsh intent.

He raised the gun slowly, directing it at the man’s head. Aria felt all the nerves in her body stand up, a murder was going to happen in front of her, she couldn’t watch it.

“Oh God,” A whimper tore from her throat as she threw herself into his chest, her hands desperately covered her ears.

They shook, her head buried into his shoulders. The sound of the gun’s click echoed in the room, but it never fired.

“Take him away,” Lucian ordered, and dropped the gun back on the table.

His men each grabbed the man by the shoulder and hurled him along with them.

Aria sat trembling in his lap, unable to move, her body completely stiff with fear. She couldn’t bring herself to look him in the eyes.

“What kind of man are you?” Her shaky voice cut through the silence.

A small smile plastered on his face, “The kind that mothers pray their daughter never meet.”

He leaned closer, his breath brushed past her skin “You shouldn’t fear me…”

He caressed her thighs, “Your sister ran with something that belonged to me.”

Her hands clenched into fists at her side, what could Camilla have taken from him? how could she even know him?

“But you, you were untouched. And I like my things, pure.”

Then, slowly he reached into a drawer beside him and pulled out a small box. The kind that could hold a wedding ring, so it seemed, her brows furrowed.

Would he tell her to marry him? She was still his prisoner till her sister gets back, or till he laid his hands on her.

On opening the box, he pulled out a black and pink leather collar. It gleamed in the dim light, and the round gold pendant had a name engraved on it

“Little dove”

Aria stared at the collar in utter confusion, her heart raced.

Her eyes held the collar like it was the most terrible thing she’d ever seen.

“Wear it,” He urged, his tone filled with command it echoed differently.

She shook her head softly, attempting to get up from his lap but he shoved her back that her bare butt jiggled softly.

His hand held her jaw so she could look him in the eye, before his gaze dropped to her breasts.

Her nipples stood at peak beneath the lacy dress, showing him that she was feeling more than she let on.

“It’s not just leather, little dove.” He breathed, his finger teased her nipples, rubbing it softly, her eyes screwed shut as she held her moans.

Mentally scolding herself for even feeling, for reacting to her captor.

“You see…” His hands moved in between her thighs, rubbing them softly till he stopped at her entrance.

A smirk hung at the corner of his lips, he pulled his hand away , bringing it to her face

Her wetness had stained his fingers, slimy and sticking to his fingers in desperation,

“It’s the only thing standing between me and sinking my teeth into everything you’re afraid to want.”

Her chest rose and fell desperately, she gripped the hem of the gown, her thighs trembled.

“So, Defy me, I dare you.”

"We both missed it." Domenico's voice scraped out of him roughly, like the words caught on the way. He wasn't looking at Lucian when he said it. He was looking at the table, at the flat of his own hands on it, the split knuckles. “So we get to carry all of that together.” Aria’s gaze dropped to her feet for a split second. This was it, what Lucian was so sure of. The brother hood they had that couldn’t be broken. She lifted her head to look at him, his eyes had changed, they held so much rage, so much that he was starting to look like Domenico and she couldn’t even blame him for it. Sister Maria?? Who would have thought. She still couldn’t wrap her head around it, but even worse she couldn’t figure out why she would hurt them like that. The room was silent for a moment… Then Lucian straightened. He pulled his shoulders back and his voice came back sharper now—because there was nowhere left for the grief to go except into action. "I guess now I have to bury that traitorous cu

The room stilled like everyone’s breath had been sucked out all at once. Domenico’s eyes didn’t leave his brother. Lucian hadn’t made a single move, even his expression refused to change. Sister Paula did the holy trinity on herself before covering her mouth with her rosary hand. Aria’s voice shattered the stillness with a sharp gasp, like air had been knocked out from between her ribs. Lucian’s hands pressed flatly on the table, both palms, fingers spread wide and they dug into the wood. “She’s been the one feeding Rafael our movements.” Domenico continued, his voice still the same. It was unusual for him because normally he’d be blinded by rage, and his voice would be through the roof. “Our schedules, our men’s rotations and—“ He paused, swallowing hard like the next words might cost him something. “And the night Vittoria died. She knew we’d both be out of the house. She sent the tip about the northern port. She made sure—“ He gazed down to control his voice, as they were startin

  • TAMING HIS LITTLE DOVE   ONCE UPON A NUN

“You’ve been at this for twenty minutes.” Aria’s voice came from the doorway behind him. Her gaze raked over him cautiously, with her shoulder rested against the frame. Lucian’s hands were buried in his pockets, his shirt still from last night, with two open buttons at the collar. His footsteps echoed silently as he crossed the villa’s main room—back and forth across the long stretch of old stone floor. Aria stepped inside fully. She had changed into a loose shirt tucked at the waist, and her hair falling down her shoulders but her eyes looked like she hadn’t closed them all night. She stood just few steps from him, her arms folded under her breasts. “Lucian.” She exhaled through her nose, already getting agitated by his repeated movements. Aria had thought all she had to worry about were his words, his jealousy that he couldn’t openly admit. How she’d live not knowing what she was to him. But the look on his face suggested that there were much bigger things to deal with than her e

  • TAMING HIS LITTLE DOVE   THE LADYBIRD

“And so the ladybird spread her wings for the very last time—“ Lucian’s voice echoed softly through the low light of the room, one ankle crossed over his knee and a small book open against his thigh. His collar sat open at the throat, “She flew so high the whole world fell small beneath her, and no one, not ever again, could tell her where to land.”He turned the page. Liana hadn’t closed her eyes. She lay flat on her back with her hands folded on top of the blanket, and her gaze fixed somewhere on the ceiling above her as she fought sleep while losing silently.“The lady bird looked down at all the world below her,” He continued, “And thought—at last. I’m finally free.”“Uncle.”Lucian’s gaze were still set on the book. “Mm.”“Do you think we could ever be free?” She said thoughtfully. “Like the ladybird.”Lucian finally lifted his head, his thumb held the page where it was. His eyes came up slowly from the book and rested on her. Her brows furrowed slightly in curiosity, her lips p

  • TAMING HIS LITTLE DOVE   YOU HAD IT ALL WRONG II

Domenico’s gaze raked over her. He had put Camilla’s name on this debt years ago—had placed it there and never looked at it again. A grief of that size needed somewhere to go, and she was perfect. She betrayed them—so he had taken all of that and built something to hold on to. Because the only other option was standing again in that lawn. With Vittoria face down in the grass and Liana bleeding in her arms and the question of why he hadn’t been home sat at the corner of everything he couldn’t answer. He shook his head slowly. “Tell me what you know.” “I’m not talking.” She held his gaze, like she could call the shots. “How am I sure you won’t just kill me?” “Do you think your threats have any use here?.” He crossed his arms over his chest. “Speak.” “No..” She swallowed, “Not until you promise that I and my daughter would be safe.” He looked at her for a long moment. The muscles in his jaw worked. “You have my word. You won’t die by my hands.” She studied his face—the

The chair scraped behind him as he walked. Domenico moved slowly, his grip tightened around the chair with his gaze on Camilla. She was on her side on the Persian rug, wrists bound behind her back, ankles bruised at the joint. A red flush spread from the left side down toward her jaw. Her eyes were open and they followed him across the room, her whole neck straining each time he moved past her sightline. His feet moved—again. “Ah.” He breathed. “I’d be lying—“ He dragged the chair around her head and her neck twisted again, trying to catch him over her shoulder. He moved past her. “If I said I didn’t know a day like this would come.” He took another slow step behind her, the chair scraped with him. “A part of me wonders about you.” Her neck was straining again, cheeks pressing harder into the rug with the effort. “Why you chose Rafael. What made you look at that man and think—“ He stopped. “That he could protect you from me.” He continued in his steps. “For immunity?”

“Next time, I want your mouth here. And I want your eyes on mine when you do it.” He huffed, Lace’s tongue darted out, wetting her lips, and then she leaned forward, her mouth closed around Lucian’s cock. Aria’s breath caught, her body betrayed her as a core throbbed. She huffed slight, tugging s
