She was already drifting to sleep when he stepped into her room again, this time alone. She stirred awake, and tried to sit up as she saw that he was carrying a tray containing her breakfast. Even before he reached her, the aroma of Apple Oatmeal Porridge hit her nostrils. Damn! It had been years since she had this dish. Her father used to make it for her during her periods. There was a cup of smoothie beside the apple oatmeal porridge dish. She couldn't tell what was in it at first glance only that it was red and salivating.
