CHAPTER 26

A sigh of relief escaped my lips when Caleb's sleeping figure welcomed me when I woke up. Unlike the previous nights we've shared, we didn't make love last night. We just laid down on the bed and talked about some stuff until we both fell asleep.

For some reason, my heart was in bliss. It was like we were a couple, a married one, and we were on a honeymoon. Everything seemed so magical last night and I was hoping that it would stay the way it was for the rest of our stay here.

It wasn't long until Caleb finally woke up and the moment our eyes met, a smile of contentment appeared on his lips. At the same time, he breathed my scent and sighed in relief.

"Ah, this makes me think of creating a house on a seaside," he mumbled.

My eyes narrowed, "What?"

"I said I am thinking of creating a house on a seaside," he repeated. "And I want that house to be our home soon."

A gasp escaped from my lungs hearing him say that. Seeing my reaction, he chuckled
